When Lisa busted through the living room, her mum immediately sprang into action. She walked in from the kitchen with a wide smile on her face.

"How was your new school?" asked Lisa's mum, curiously. Lisa did not answer. She was normally as loud as an elephant, but now she was a mouse.

"I'm sure it wasn't that bad. Something must have been good." replied her mum. Lisa squirmed; she sprinted like a cheetah to her room. Then, without thinking, Lisa slammed her door closed, making a thunderous bang around the house. The moment she got to the sanctuary of her room, her safe haven, she burst into tears. Loud wet tears.

"MUM! Lisa's crying!" Said her annoying little brother, Tom from the room across from hers.

"LISA COME DOWN AND HELP WITH DINNER OR WE'LL BE EATING LEFTOVER STEW FROM LAST WEEK!" Yelled her mum. Lisa did not move but continued crying. Her mum did not bother but instead asked Tom to help, who rather reluctantly agreed.

That was the worst day ever, thought Lisa.

After an hour of solitude, Lisa stopped crying and reached forward and grabbed her smooth, grey notebook from her desk and started drawings some sketches of anime characters. This was Lisa's hobby, drawing and painting. It always made Lisa feel better, but today it only made her sadder. She wished other people would understand her and accept her talents. But they only picked on the weaknesses. She never wanted to go back to that school ever again.
