Lisa walked slowly back home. She had never wanted to be at home and not be at home. She had lost her best friend, her passion and her crush. Yes, Lisa admitted it, she had a crush on Tina. It was obvious. Yet, she was completely oblivious to the fact that she was bisexual. She was shocked when she found out, yet worried what her parents would say.
Suddenly a figure walked by. Dark clothing, long hair in braids, and facing down. Who was this strange person? But Lisa could not ask them who they were, for they ran fast, pretty fast like a cheetah sprinting to the park. The park was just a little ground they used to play when they were younger. It had a big tree, a ground, a footpath and a swimming pool they would swim in in the summer. The figure jumped briskly over the fence and ran off.
Lisa found it all a bit suspicious. She had never seen the likes of this person before, and she knew the neighborhood like the back of her head. Once there was a group of young teens who hanged out at nights and did graffiti and other stuff, but the neighborhood got together and dealt with them. Lisa was only young when it happened, and so Lisa's parents started going tough on her. She supposed that they worried that was how Lisa would turn out when she was thirteen, but they had no reason to worry. She was a perfectly normal teen, who went against her parents' beliefs sometimes. That was how Lisa thought of herself. As a disgrace to her friends and family.
Her parents did not approve of the Arts and LGBTQ. So, the fact that Lisa was a part of the Arts and LGBTQ community was not a good sign. Not to mention Tom was annoying. Lisa liked dance, and Tom liked basketball. She preferred the Arts, while Tom preferred Math's. In other words, she was different to all the neighborhood kids. They said mean things to her and left her on her own. Suddenly she caught up with the dark figure and grabbed them by the back of their jacket.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" She asked the stranger.
"P-please I-I c-can explain", exclaimed the stranger.
"I don't need your explanations, just GET OUT OF HERE!" Lisa yelled to the stranger.
"I-I'll tell you everything, just let me go", they replied whilst straining. Lisa squinted at them before letting go. Slowly the figure revealed themselves. And this was a huge surprise for Lisa. It was none other than Chloe. A second passed before Chloe ran off, leaving Lisa alone with her thoughts.
