She was not supposed to be here...
She was suppose to be up, with her father in the party that was been held to celebrate the victor of the tournament if only for appearances sake.
But right now there were something more important to do in her mind than to attend the ending ceremony, no matter how much her father had scowled at her intentions and her choice of words that she had uttered before leaving his side, not looking back for a single moment.
And it was centred about a certain white haired girl who had not left the gladiatorial barracks after the last match.
The sound of her heels echoed through the corridors as she ventured deeper into the stadiums underground sections, having passed a long time the baths and training grounds that were scattered around the infrastructure.
It did not took her long to reach the entrance to the female barracks...,raising her hand and stretching her arm to push the door, but just as her fingertips were about to grace the cool surface she stopped.
Pausing as she took one or two deep breaths, preparing herself for what was about to happen, even though she did not know what was meant to happen, but something inside her told her to prepare anyway.
Funny, wasn't it? She had faced monsters and knights on scores...and yet she felt second guessing whether to open a door.
Once she did she pushed the door, gently...
It was open, she realized. The hinges whining loudly thanks to years of neglect of proper maintenance as the door opened softly before her eyes..., allowing her to see what laid behind.
And what her eyes could see was the one thing she had come down for, an invisible wave of relief washing over before she took her first step inside.
Behind the door and seating over a bench was a girl clad in a two piece suit of black and white, a few years younger than her with her white hair tied into a small pony-tail and red wine eyes that had been hiding underneath her hands, only visible for a moment as she rose her head to see who had come.
A myriad of emotions appearing behind the depths of those eyes...
There was a pause then, the sound of their breathing between them and the way they air moved through the corridors becoming the only source of noise now that the two were face to face.
''You are here...''
Alexia drone out, almost emotionless if there was not a pang of frustration tethering behind her tone, but that could have been true.
Still, she did not raise from her seat, preferring to remain as idle as she had been since her arrival.
''I am...''
She said, nodding her head.
''Why...? Wasn't that enough?''
''I beg your pardon?''
''...''
''Sister..?''
Once it appeared clear that Alexia would not explain what she meant nor invite her over she apologized as she approached and sat right next to her.
