As the sun rose to the highest peak the crowd came in once Coriolanus left the monkey house. There was chattering everywhere around Lucy Gray clouding her thoughts, but all that ran through them were about Y/N Emerald and how she would do anything for Lucy Gray.
On the other hand Y/N was thinking about hunger and how she would make it out of this mess even if it meant killing everyone around her. Y/n thought to herself "Lucy Gray would definitely be an easy target even if she's Billy Taupe's "Girlfriend" . I could be a champion, but Lucy is witty, smart, and cunning a perfect lure for snakes." A soft humming sound interrupted Y/n's dangerous thoughts about the games. She turned and saw Lucy Gray humming to herself and knew Lucy Gray wouldn't know what hit her in the 10th Hunger Games.
Lucy Gray just wanted freedom away from the Capitol and away from Panem with the Covey. They could flee north where they believed was the safest place they could be away from the laws and most of all the Hunger Games. She knew there could only be one victor and she knew she had to remain alive and maybe kill Y/n, but to her that was impossible physically and mentally. Y/n was cunning,sly, and maybe even manipulative. No her Y/n Emerald Clade couldn't ever betray her in her eyes! The more Lucy Gray thought of it the more she started to doubt it. She knew Y/n wanted to live, but she was also soft-hearted and wouldn't kill her. Lucy Gray didn't want to believe this evil thought and pushed it to the back of her head instead thinking of rainbows and clouds. Her mind shifted to Coriolanus Snow here's and Y/n Emerald's mentor. He was handsome, but she couldn't think about kissing him he fit all the criteria she had, but he wasn't desirable to her and she only felt attracted to a single young 16 year old girl.

Y/n wanted something normal and something to eat for her undying love for food in her system for the rough Hungers Games ahead. She would even fucking beg for food since her body wanted to shut down from the lack of food. A little boy threw her an apple she was startled, but still caught it and gave a warm smile to the boy and he gave her a shy little smile and walked away. Y/n quickly bit into the apple and savored each bite of the green apple. Reaper came up to her to spar for the apple and she stood up and did a jab hook punch to his temples and a kick to his balls making him stumble back since the most painful place to be hit was his temples. Y/n Emerald then continued eating her green apple with none wanting to bother her and get beaten up. Oh Y/n wished she could see the ravenous black sky again with the beautiful stars and constellations and her favorite constellations Canis Major and Vulpecula.

Life was getting harder for everyone in the games if nobody wanted to feed the tributes. She didn't know how anyone could survive this and they would all die of starvation if no one bothered to help them not die of starvation. She wanted no she needed to live for everyone and for Panem's downfall. Lucy Gray saw Y/n as pure as snow falling from the sky up in the winter's mountains where no one walks into it. Life was so fucking unfair for Y/n Emerald and herself she just wanted this bullshit to end and end her misery in the games hopefully killed by Y/n Emerald to let her win.

She was trying to live her fucking life to the fullest, but with so many shitty people around gawking at her it was hard especially since they had no fucking food. Y/n Emerald just wanted Coriolanus just so he could bring food to his tributes that he probably already forgot was his responsibility or maybe they were a burden towards him especially since he had to mentor them both then again they weren't even his responsibility, but she definitely knew that she wanted her body buried under the weeping willow tree somewhere alongside Lucy Gray. It might wash away all her woes in life towards the people she pickpocketed and so everyone would know where she sleeps forever in eternity not dealing with the rest of Panem.
