Lucy Gray p.o.v
As the birds were chirping like how Ma used to sing to me, I felt a sense of dread, but a feeling of hope. When I woke up I felt Y/N Emerald's arms around me and smiled a bit. As I embraced her warmth I felt her twitch next to me.
Then I felt a craving for something sweet maybe like the bread pudding Ma used to make with some nuts in it and sweet strawberry or vanilla frosting.
Then before I knew it Y/n Emerald was awake and when she pulled away I felt cold in a matter of seconds, then when I looked at the sky the sun was midway through the sky, so it was probably midday. I knew Coriolanus Snow would come soon.
Y/n Emerald p.o.v
The sun was shining straight into my face and when I awoke I instantly flinched and turned away and when I looked to my left I saw Lucy Gray cuddled up next to me, when I saw her I knew I wanted to stay , but the random events of the day were too shocking and I accidentally harshly pulled away from Lucy Gray's body.
When I saw her eyes flutter open I felt regret in my heart and I felt a small lump in my throat, when Lucy Gray shivered my natural instinct was to go back to her and when I touched her she looked calmer and we both fell asleep again.
Lucy Gray's p.o.v
When Coriolanus came over I almost squealed in delight, but when I turned to Y/n Emerald she looked at Coriolanus with a look of jealousy, and then I saw Coriolanus rolling his eyes, but when his eyes interlocked with mine I instantly felt my heart flutter, yet it didn't really feel right maybe I just wasn't used to love.
Then Coriolanus said to a peacekeeper "Can we get these possibly removed for these two." I saw the guard hesitant but shake his head "Hi Lucy and Y/n." I said with a flutter of happiness "Thanks for trying but you know the peacekeepers will never change their minds they're scared we're going to go rogue on them." Coriolanus laughed and I felt myself falling for him a bit more I could easily imagine myself and Coriolanus as a couple, but what about Y/n Emerald?
