Y/n's pov
   I sighed today was the reaping for me and Lucy Gray only 2 years left of this bullshit reaping, but being a victor could help my family. I threw on a ruffly dress hoping that I looked presentable enough I had been planning on taking out extra of my blood for the reaping just for some of the bread, I would rather do it then have Lucy do it we really needed Lucy Gray for the Covey the sad thing about my instrument was that it was a piano which was quite expensive. I also could play the guitar and clarinet I then heard Clerk Carmine call my name telling me to get my ass down there. Turns out Lucy Gray was already there Billy Taupe threw me a slice of bread and I swiftly ate it. I then decided against telling them the fact I would be taking out extra blood we then all headed out for the reaping I then looked at Lucy Gray's clothing what I saw had me shocked it was a beautiful, but simple dress of rainbow ruffles the blue ruffles reminded me of azure which reminded me of Barb Azure. I resisted the urge to stop walking and marvel over her dress we soon arrived at the reaping Lucy Gray decided to go first I thought "Yesss she's going first for the blood part now I can extract more of mine without her noticing!" Soon it was my turn and I whispered to them "I would like to take out extra of my blood please for the reaping." The finger prickers nodded and I said "I'll put it in there ummmmmm 67 times please." They nodded and pricked my finger a few times and let the blood run then they said "You're done now Next! I walked to where Lucy Gray was and she gave me a nod to acknowledge my presence she said,"What took you so long Y/n Emerald?" I said "They just had a bit of sorting out to do." Lucy Gray tilted her head but didn't say anything else. "C'mon LuLu they're going to call out the names soon and we have to hear them you know?" I said interrupting th silence LuLu gave a small nod an we both strained out our ears to hear out 2 names for some reason Y/n Emerald Clade and........... Lucy Gray Baird.......  There was pure silence in District 12 when they also said Lucy Gray Baird.

Coriolanus's POV
When they called out Y/n Emerald L/n I was disappointed because of how weak her name seemed. Then the mayor also included the name Lucy Gray Baird I was shocked. I was standing with Festus at the time we both gave each other a shocked look since District 12 had 2 female tributes. I yelled out "WHO DO I MENTOR THEN!?" Livia said "Probably both?" I sighed at her and thought about how impossible this is.
Y/n's POV
I looked at Lucy Gray and we looked at each other with shock then suddenly Lucy Gray dropped a snake into Mayfair's dress. I also decided to drop a snake to I winked at Mayfair then before I knew it Mayor Lipp slapped me and LuLu after that we then heard Clerk Carmine's voice.
"You can't take my past.

We both then rose our heads as a puff of wind blew across the reaping stage. Then Billy Taupe's voice also sang out.
"You could take my pa,
But his name's a mystery."
I smiled at Lucy Gray and we held our hands together and stood up singing together with the mics.
"Nothing you can take from me was ever worth keeeping."
  Lucy and I sang jointly with our voices.

We saw the cameras moving to get a better shot of us singing we then continued singing.

  We both started walking around the stage I was shocked the peacekeepers didn't stop us though so we continued...

We both blew a singular kiss to the audience and said jointly,"Our friends call us Lucy Gray and Y/n Emerald. I hope you will too!" Then the peacekeeper wrestled the microphone out of our hands  we both walked to the center of the stage and did a small bow. Then the mayor glared at us both and pulled a name from the second bag and he said "The District Twelve boy tribute is Jessup Diggs." We saw a boy with a fringe of black hair plastered on his prominent forehead he also looked bigger than the average District Twelve person he also looked quite strong maybe a good ally. He shook our hands and we were escorted off the stage.

Coriolanus's pov

I was visibly shocked on what happened their voices mingled sounded perfect and created the perfect tone they were both definitely a gift when they were singing together so he felt like he was obliged to treat them like one.
   He thought about how much success 2 dresses,snakes, and a song could bring.
He was a bit jealous okay actually super jealous of Sejanus because he got a big beefy boy. He then decided to surprise his tributes with 2 roses and meeting them at the carriage that was supposed to take them............
