Chapter 2

As soon as Lilly walked out of the house Luke and I raced to our gaming room.

"Wanna play Black Ops 2 or Battlefield?" Luke asked me as I sat down.

"Black ops 2" I replied.

"Prepare to lose sis!"

"In your dreams." I said pushing his shoulder.

"Told you I would beat you!" Luke said, being cocky.

"Hey, I beat you 3 out of 7 times! Plus this is what you and your friends do on the weekend when there's not a party." I said sticking my tongue out.

"Hush! Speaking of my friends Tate and Zach are coming over in 20 minutes."

"Why do your friends always come over here?" I asked.

"Because our house rules!" Luke yelled.

"Okay well let's have a deal, you, Tate, and Zach can have the basement. We share the main floor. While me and Jade have the upstairs?" I suggested.

"Okay, deal!"

I ran upstairs and called Jade, "Hey Jade, Lilly is out of town and Luke is inviting Tate and Zach over I was wondering do you wanna come over and hang out?"

"Sure, be over in 2 hours have to run to the store with Jake!"

"Great see you then." I said then hung up.

I went to my room and picked some clothes out and then went to take a shower. I picked out a black shirt, with some blue jean high waisted shorts, with my red flannel around my waist and my combat boots. Even though it was summer, I add my beanie.

I heard the door bell ring so I ran downstairs to the door, thinking it was Jade. It wasn't it.

"Hey Ash."

"Hi."

"You look edgy like always." Tate said with a smirk.

"Right back at ya."

Tate is 18, he has brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing an All Time Low shirt with black skinny jeans. He looked good. I mean he's cute, not a lot of girls like him, but I do.

"Oh yeah, my brothers in the basement I think."

"No he left to get pizza I called him when I was almost here and he told me he left."

"Oh okay." I walked into the kitchen and Tate followed, then he checked his phone.

"Luke just text me and said that he has to pick up Zach who is an hour and a half away his car broke down."

"Ugh okay. Well I guess it's just gonna be us for a few hours." I said.

Tate smirked, and I couldn't help but smile back.

"What?" I asked curiously.

"Oh nothing, just thinking."

"About what?"

"Just how different you are." he said smiling

"Wow gee thanks." I said sarcastically.

I started to walk away but then Tate grabbed my arm.

"What are you doing?!?" I hollered at him .
