Chapter 20

I woke and and hugged my knees crying. I grabbed my phone and called Tate.

"T-tate?" I asked crying.

"Yeah ash what's wrong?"

"Nightmare." is all I could say.

"I'm coming over, don't go to sleep." is all Tate said before hanging up.

I sat on my bed hugging my knees waiting on him. I heard something hit the window and sure enough it was a shoe. A little later Tate climb threw my window and ran over and hugged me. I wasn't crying anymore but I was afraid to go back to sleep and it was only 2 a.m.

"I don't want to go to sleep."

"You have to it's only 2."

"But I might have the dream again." I said

"I'll be here and you'll be fine. Lets go to sleep." Tate said picking me up are carrying me to my bed.

Tate laided me down and then laid by me and I fell asleep in his arms. This time I didn't have a nightmare.

"Tate, morning." I said smiling.

"Mmmm." is all he said and pulled me closer.

"Tate, we got to get ready."

"Butttttt I like it here more." he whined like a little kid.

"Yeah yeah. Now get up or let go of me." I said grabbing a pillow.

"And if I don't?" He asked and I hit him in the head with a pillow.

"Then I'll keep on hitting you." I said sticking out my tongue.

"Fineeee." he whined letting me go.

I ran into my bathroom and got dressed and did my make up. I came out to see that Tate back asleep on his stomach and that he had changed. I ran over to him and sat on his back.

"Tate. Get. Up." I said.

"I. Dont. Wanna."

"I'll give you a kiss."

"Mm, No."

"I'll give you a kiss, and let you drive us to school."

"Nope more."

"I'll give you a kiss of as long as you would like, let you drive my car anywhere"

"Hm, tempting but still needs a little more."

"If you don't wake up, then I don't know what to do Tatertot." I said smirking remember a nickname I gave him a long time ago.

"Ash, I'll only get up if I can kiss you whenever I want for as long as I want. I get to drive your car whenever, and if you let me have atleast one skip day with you." he stated.

"You already kiss me whenever and for as long as you want. Okay you can drive my car whenever as long as I don't need it. And I'll allow you to have 1 skip day every 2 months, but you can't this week."

"Okay deal." Tate said getting up and kissing me.

"Now come on I just wasted 10 minutes making this deal."

"Okay. okay." Tate says.

We walked downstairs to.

"Pancakes!" I yelled.

"I swear I'm dating a 4 year old." Tate said with a chuckle.

"Oh hush. You know you love me." I said pouring syrup.

"I do love you."

"Love you too."

After eating pancakes we put out dishes in the sink and left. Tate drove us back to school.

"Hey Luke why haven't you been home recently?" I asked.

"Umm." Luke said.

"Luke?" I asked again.

"Because I'm 18 and I can do what I want okay?!" Luke snapped at me.

"Okay chill. I was just wanting to know."

"I'm sorry, I've just been stressed out."

"Okay, tell me when your ready." I said walking to my locker.

"Why did he snap at you?" Tate asked

"I don't know." I said grabbing my book.

"Okay." Tate said.

"See you later babe love you."

"Love you too." Tate said giving me a kiss.

I walked into class and saw Jade.

"I'm guessing Charlie is in Indiana right now."

"Yep, she wants to stay for the rest of the week but her mom wants her back on Thursday."

"Oh, okay."

"So have you finished your math?"

"Nope."

"Okay well I think me and you need to work on it Thursday night." Jade said

"Okay."

"So why was Tate with you this morning?" Jade asked.

"Cause I had a nightmare and didn't want to sleep but he came over and made me." I said

"Oh really?" She said raising an eyebrow.

"Jade and Ashley you want to share you wonderful conversation with the class?" Mr.Waters asked.

"Nope." I said.

"Okay then I suggest you guys be quite!"

"Okay Mr.Waters." jade said sarcastically.

Me and jade were quite for the rest of the hour. I avoided her because I knew she would be asking questions no stop. I'm a good friend huh?

"Hey babycakes." Tate said grabbing my waist.

"Did you just call me Babycakes?" I asked with a giggle.

"I sure did." he said kissing me.

"Well what are we going to do?"

"Skip the rest of the day."

"Tate. I told you not this week."

"Fine, but I'm going to make them let school out earlier."

"And how are you going to do that?" I asked with a grin.

"You find out in a minute." he said winking and walking to the office.

10 minutes later Tate came out of the office, but wouldn't tell me what happen. 5 minutes later the principal was talking over the entercons.

"Attention students! Due to do things coming up school had been canceled for the rest of today and for the rest of the week."

"What did you do?" I asked.

"Did you forget who my mom is?"

"Your mom is the majors secretary."

"Yep, and I just happen to tell him that the major want us to be out of school for a while. So he called the Major and the major went along with it since I sometimes have to watch his kids."

"Nice." I said as we walked to my car.
