Jin was driving Jisoo crazy. Not romantically though. Just like up-the-wall insane.
She'd liked him at first, as a friend, because he was funny and goofy and nice enough. He never seemed to take anything seriously and with Roseanne and Jinyoung around always making sure she stayed on track, it had been a nice change.
But then he'd decided that he wanted to date her and now she can't get rid of him.
He'd asked her out for the first time a week ago and she'd turned him down stating that she wasn't really looking to date anyone and she liked him better as a friend. She'd hoped that he'd take it well, like Hyoseop had, and just forget about it and move on.
He had not.
Instead, he'd decided that if she didn't like him, he'd just have to change her mind. He had picked flowers for her. He'd written her a (bad, very bad) song after hastily learning to play the guitar. He'd carried her bag for her between classes and he brought her snacks when she was studying. (That last bit she didn't mind that much except she felt guilty accepting it.)
After he asked her out for the fifth time in four days, she snapped.
"Jin, I don't want to date you," She growled at him through clenched teeth.
"Why not?" He asked.
"Because I don't like you like that!"
"But why not? I mean I've been really nice to you and we get along really well. And I know I'm good-looking," He said as if that should be enough. "I mean, the only reason you wouldn't like me would be if there was someone else."
"There is!" Jisoo blurted out in desperation because she just wanted him to leave her alone.
"Really? Who? I would know if you were dating someone.."
"We thought Rosie wouldn't approve of us so we've kept it a secret."
Jisoo has never been a good liar. Roseanne teases her about it all the time. But she's proud of how quickly she comes up with that.
Jin frowned, "What?"
"I thought Rosie wouldn't.. I mean, Rosie has always been a protective sister and we thought it would be better if we kept it a secret for a bit."
Jin scoffed, "Fine, whatever. I can tell you're lying. If you didn't want to date me, you could have just said so."
He stalked off down the hall and Jisoo groans in frustration. At least he won't bother her again, though she is a little sad that she has lost a friend.

Everyone was acting strange around Jisoo. She can't quite place why she feels weird until lunch time where she realizes that it's because people were whispering about her. She can see them leaning toward each other when they catch sight of her and while all of them are staring at her, none of them will quite meet her eye. She's never really been the subject of gossip before. She never did anything scandalous and she was good enough friends with most of the school that if something was up they'd just talk to her. She's very sure that she doesn't like it at all.
She got her food, keeping her head down as she sat next to Jinyoung whose expression changes instantly when he sees it's her.
"What?" Jisoo asked.
"I'm a little offended, you know," Jinyoung said, "I mean, you told Jin you were dating someone, but not me? I thought we were friends."
Jisoo groans and drops her forehead down onto the table.
