With her project finally launched a couple of days later, Jennie came home a little bit tipsy after some celebratory drinks with her team.

It was a bit past midnight—or one in the morning, she isn't quite sure. The last shot Hanbin dared her to take brought her past her happily-buzzed threshold.

Not that she regreted it.

Irene was right; she deserved to dial it down here and there. Not that she'd ever admit or say that out loud of course. After all, according to Yeri, since Hanbin was the epitome of crazy genius, Jennie's supposed to be the other sibling end—brilliant, soft, lady-like.

Yeah, fuck that.

She yawned and opened her door, and a loud, demanding yowl greeted her before she could turn on the light.

She felt for the switch, flicked it on, and she found Sneaky blinking where he sat on the floor. His ears were perked, and the way he looked at Jennie was as if he was demanding an explanation why Jennie was just getting home—and tipsy, of all things.

"Shut it. You're not my mum, furball," Jennie muttered.

She dropped her bag on her couch and kicked off her heels, then side-eyed Sneaky as he walked beside her. "How do you even keep getting here?"

Sneaky meowed in response, shrill and annoyed. Jennie narrowed her eyes at him. "What?"

Mrraow.

"Oh, don't tell me you're hungry."

He meowed and brushed against Jennie's ankle. Sighing, she leaned down to scratch behind his ear.

"Does Jisoo not feed you?" She mumbled.

He didn't reply. Of course.

He did allow Jennie to pet him; after a few seconds, he meowed again and walked to the direction of the kitchen. When Jennie didn't follow him, he stopped and stared back at her with bright, wide eyes.

"How do you even know I still have food for you, you little bastard?" Jennie scoffed, but she only shook her head. She found herself walking to the kitchen, and Sneaky walked alongside her, looking pleased with himself.

Maybe Jennie's just imagining that. She swayed a little as she tried to avoid the ball of fluff walking beside her.

"You're fuckin' invisible in the dark, you might as well be a safety hazard," Jennie muttered under her breath.

She took out the pet bowls from the cupboard and placed them on the kitchen counter. Sneaky jumped onto it and sat, waiting and watching with his swishing tail and perky ears as Jennie took a can of cat food.

So, she may have bought supplies. Sneaky couldn't possibly know that, can he?

Meow.

"Oh shut up," Jennie mumbled, though it lacked bite, especially as she reached for him to gently scratch his head while she emptied the can into the bowl.

Sneaky immediately dug in and Jennie rolled her eyes. She filled half of the other bowl with some water.

"You keep running away like this and making me feed you and I might just adopt you," Jennie said as she watched him, fingers busy combing his fur.

Sneaky looked up at her for a moment, then continued eating. Jennie gaped. "Wait. Have you adopted me?"

Sneaky meowed, the sound muffled by the food in his mouth.

"You slick little fucker," Jennie laughed. "Am I your mom now? Me and Jisoo?" Jennie snorted and leaned back against her dinner table, watching the cat eat.
