"HE'S ACCEPTED!!" the members of the Foxy Pirates cheered as the sound of a pair of gunshots rang out over the island.
"This should be interesting." Anu commented as the Foxy Pirates quickly began getting to work setting up various tents and stands for the upcoming games.
"What do we do?!" Nami asked, freaking out about what was going on.
"There's only one thing we can do." Sanji told her. "Wait on Luffy and the others to return so we can gameplan for the games."
"I don't like any of this." she said, Sanji's words not putting her at any kind of ease.
"Then just sit back and be quiet." Zoro told her. "Your complaining isn't helping anyone right now."
"I wish you would take this-" Nami began to retort.
"Save your breath, Nami." Anu said as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "As blunt as his words are, they're still true. Complaining does us no favors right now."
"B-but." she stammered out before Anu placed both of his hands on her shoulders and made her face him.
"Nami, sometimes you have to accept that a situation is out of your control." he told her.
"Anu's right, Nami." Robin told her. "Just because you're helpless in one situation doesn't mean you can't be helpful in other situations."
"Thanks, you guys." Nami replied, having been somewhat reassured by their words.
"All right guys, cut the chitchat! It's time to vow to the Three Articles of Defeat!" Porche, one of Foxy's main underlings, announced over an intercom. "One! Crew members or flags captured in the Davy Back Fight cannot be reclaimed other than through said game. Two! Crew members chosen by the winner must immediately swear allegiance to their opponents' captain. Three! A stolen flag may never be displayed again!"
"Nami, they're selling cotton candy!" Sanji said as he brought over a pair of cotton candies on sticks.
"I'm not hungry, Sanji." Nami replied, looking slightly depressed as she sat on a crate.
"Are you still fretting?" Zoro asked, somewhat disappointed by Nami.
"Oh okay, would you like some cotton candy, Robin?" Sanji asked, as he offered her the other stick.
"No thank you, I already have some." she replied as she held up the stick of cotton candy. "Thank you, Anu."
"No problem, Robin." he answered.
"You sonuva..." Sanji mumbled under his breath as he walked away from the pair.
"Anyone who doesn't obey these articles goes to Davy Jones's Locker as a disgrace to all pirates!!" Porche continued, before she addressed both Luffy and Foxy. "Do you swear?!"
"I swear!" they both replied, in unison.
"Alright, look at these coins!" Foxy said as he help up a trio of coins in one hand. "According to the traditional rules, we dedicate this Three Coin Game to Davy Jones! Begin!!" he finished as he threw the coins into the ocean nearby.
"Who's Davy Jones?" Chopper asked, as Robin handed him her stick of cotton candy.
"A pirate from long ago who was cursed by a demon and is said to live deep down on the seafloor." she answered.
"He lives on the seafloor?" he asked, amazed by her answer.
"That's the legend." she replied. "Any sunken ships or treasure get locked away in Davy Jones' Locker."
"The seafloor is scary!" Chopper said as he walked off while munching on his cotton candy. "This is sweet!"
"Davy keeps everything that sinks down to him, so pirates refer to taking what you want from your enemies as "Davy Back." Sanji informed the crew.
