taehyun and beomgyu walked up to the front door of one of taehyun's friends house and the blonde sighed.
"alright just pretend you're my boyfriend like always and everything will be alright" taehyun said stressing.
about two months ago when taehyun had his monthly meet up with his friends they all talked about how they were in a relationship with someone and one of them turned to taehyun and asked "what about you?have you found someone?" and all eyes were on him so being the nervous wreck he is he nodded.
"yeah i met this very sweet guy six months ago and we're very happy!" he said and took a sip of his tea contemplating jumping off a bridge because why in the world would he say that?!?!?!!
so here he is with beomgyu pretending to date for two months already and it really benefited both of them because beomgyu's mom had just kicked him out if the house because she wanted to to live alone so taehyun offered him to live at his place so turns out this deal came just in time.
of course they knew each other already because they're classmates in uni so this was the easiest fake dating deal ever.
in the middle of this whole pretend game they started to grow closer and taehyun had to admit that beomgyu was the perfect match for him..and maybe not even in a fake way.
he found himself admiring beomgyu from the side or when he was peacefully taking a nap.
"i've got this don't worry.." beomgyu said and smiled as he placed his arm around taehyun's shoulders and opened the door and just like that they both walked into the party.
they walked around the house and greeted taehyun's friends whilst other people danced around them.
once they had said hi to everyone they went to the living room to sit down only to find out there was no place for them to sit there so they went outside to maybe sit there and luckily there was a lounge chair near the pool free so that's where they went.
beomgyu sat down first and pulled taehyun on his lap "come here.." he said in a lazy voice like he always did.
sometimes taehyun let himself believe it was all real and that neither of them were pretending.
beomgyu swung taehyun's legs over the armrest and rested his own arm against the other armrest and that gave taehyun full freedom to lean against beomgyu's chest.
this was almost natural to them.
sometimes when they decided to watch a movie taehyun would bring the snacks from the kitchen and place them on the coffee table and in a swift motion beomgyu would just pull him in his lap.
at first taehyun asked "why'd you do that?"
and beomgyu's answers were something like this:
"felt like it"
"just because"
and taehyun's all time favorite that made his heart flutter a bit was:
"i missed you"
and as those three words would escape beomgyu's mouth he would always burry his nose in the crook of taehyun's neck and smile.
so yeah taehyun was used to sitting in beomgyu's lap and basically cuddling him.
these were the types of moments where taehyun let himself believe that it wasn't all pretend.some other moments were...
when taehyun would be making breakfast for the two of them and beomgyu would come up to him placing his hands on taehyun's waist and resting his chin on the blondes shoulder asking 'what's for breakfast?'
or when they would watch a movie and the blonde would fall asleep in beomgyu's arms and wake up in the morning on the couch cuddling beomgyu making it clear that even though beomgyu had the choice of carrying taehyun to his own room and leaving him to sleep there — he chose to sleep with taehyun in his arms.
"so what are we going to do to spend an appropriate amount of time here" beomgyu asked as taehyun leaned against the brunettes chest.taehyun just smiled and shrugged "i don't know do you have any ideas?"
beomgyu did have an idea.
"what's your type?" beomgyu asked and taehyun frowned looking up at beomgyu "my type?" taehyun asked and beomgyu just nodded.
"you go first."
beomgyu smiled slightly "i like guys."
"blonde hair..."
"plump kissable lips"
"brown doe eyes"
"5'10"
"pretty smile"
"something like that.." he said and looked at taehyun who's cheeks were pink and he looked amazed.the sight made beomgyu chuckle "now you go.."
taehyun cleared his throat and decided to tease the brunette.
"i like guys with pink hair..or no hair whatsoever.."
"they have to be shorter than me."
"blue eyes are a must"
"oh and i like thin lips.." as he said that he looked at beomgyu and noticed that his smile had faded away..he felt bad and panic started to rise up in him.
"..that's not me.." beomgyu said in a sad voice making taehyun feel even worse.
he felt beomgyu get tense and as he was about to get up and lift taehyun off his lap the blonde quickly reacted "it was a joke beomgyu!i swear it was a joke!" he said as he placed his palms on beomgyu's chest.
the brunette felt relief wash all over him.
"my type is you..sweet, handsome, and you always know how to make me feel better..how could you not be my type.." taehyun said as he tilted his head and smiled while looking beomgyu in the eyes.
"so...you like me..like really like me?" beomgyu asked rising his eyebrows.
"yes." taehyun said as he chuckled and nodded.
"then how about we take this fake dating thing further and make it real?"
"i would love that"
