Todoroki walked through the rain as quickly as he could. Half of him regretted becoming a cat, but the other half kept reminding him why he made the decision in the first place.
[Todoroki]: "I hope Kirishima isn't still out here." He sighed and still kept going despite how much he wanted to lay down.
30 minutes passed, and soon it turned into an hour. He still couldn't find his way back to the dorms since the rain had started pouring so hard he could barely see.
[Todoroki's Mind]: "If I turn back now... I'd be wasting this opportunity I have. I won't have to deal with my family... or feel the feeling of rejection that I've felt my whole life..." He finally decided to sit down next to a bush.
Midoriya raced through the forest for almost another hour, but still found no sign of Todoroki or the cat. He thought that there might have been paw prints or shoe prints in the mud, but the rain was pouring so hard that it probably washed them away.
[Midoriya]: "Todoroki-kun! Mr. Cat! Are you out there?!" He felt his voice giving out, and it was no use since it was drowned out by the rain anyway.
He didn't want to give up yet, even if it meant staying out in the rain all night, or however long it would take to find Todoroki. All of a sudden when he looked down to his right, he saw the cat laying down by a bush.
[Midoriya]: "I finally found you!" He sighed with relief and knelt down next to the cat.
[Midoriya's Mind]: "I need to take him to my dorm right now... he looks freezing and soaking wet." He picked up the cat and held him close to his chest.
Todoroki heard a familiar voice and soon after, someone picked him up off the ground. He was too exhausted and tired to even look up to see who it was.
For a few moments, Midoriya's mind was distracted about being worried about the cat, but he quickly went back to thinking about Todoroki. Usually when he's on a mission to save someone, or when he needs to save his comrade, he gets worried about them; but the way he could feel the worry and anxiety stir in his stomach was like nothing he's felt before when he thought of Todoroki.
[Midoriya]: "Almost there." He picked up the pace when he saw the dorms up ahead.
He quickly used One For All to get onto the porch and deactivated it once he got into his room. After setting the cat on his bed, he rushed over to his closet to grab a dry towel for him.
[Midoriya]: "Here you go..." He mumbled while he wrapped the cat in the blanket to keep him warm.
Todoroki finally took in his surroundings and his heart started racing once he realized where he was.
[Todoroki]: "I'm back in his room... he must've found me out there." He snuggled more into the blanket since he was still shaking from the cold.
Midoriya sat down on his bed against the wall and rested his head on his knees with a sigh.
[Midoriya]: "At least I found you... but I have to keep looking for Todoroki. What if he got kidnapped by villains? Or got seriously hurt out in the rain?" He kept wondering why Todoroki just disappeared.
[Todoroki's Mind]: "This is why I shouldn't have turned... I'm making him worry for no reason. But it won't be the same if I'm human again." He walked over and sat down next to Midoriya with the towel still wrapped around himself.
The towel was way too big for him, so he did his best to drape most of it onto Midoriya's arms and head.
[Midoriya]: "Aww... thank you little one..." He chuckled sadly and looked down at the cat.
[Midoriya]: "I'll wake up early tomorrow... hopefully I'll find Todoroki..." He laid down with the towel still partially on his head.
Todoroki laid down next to him, and for the first night ever since he'd turned into a cat, they fell asleep with heavy worries on their minds.
(aaaaand that is yet another wrap lol! Cya soon!)
