One Day

Chapter 12: Jealousy

*Mark's POV*

I just told Frances that I want to go on a date with her using my cellphone. I was so shy and i don't know what came over me. I want to take our relationship farther or at least go big or go home. She's such a nice girl and a bit sarcasrtic, but I like her that way.

I was walking down the park in the dark when I saw something shiny. It captured my attention and decided to follow the shiny thing.I picked it up and it was sort of a gem or a diamond. It had a purple-ish color and a bit round. I put it inside my pocket and decided to go to the school. It was a bit dark and I went to my dorm and slept.

*BEEP*

*BEEP*

I was woken up by a text from my phone. I decided to check it out and it was from Frances! I quickly viewed it and I was excited that it woke me up entirely. "Sure, and when is this date acctually?" It said. I jumped out of my bed and literally screamed yes! It woke up my dorm mates and they told me to shut up and sleep but I ignored them.

I looked at my phone again and it was already 5:10 in the morning! I decided to take a shkwer and do my usual stuff. Today is Tuesday so there won't be any quizes or tests. After nine hours passed, I decided to meet up with Frances and told her if we could watch movies in my dorm.

"Hey Frances, can I... Can we watch movies in my dorm?" I nerviously said to her. "Sure! What kind of movies?" She replied with a smile in her face. I held her hand when suddenly Nathan came in at the wrong timing! "Mark, can I talk to Frances for a moment?" I smiled and said sure. They talked a bit far from me and talked about something.

Frances then came to me and I held her hand and we came to my dorm. Luckily, my room mate Josh was not there and Joe was visiting his parents. I then found my dvd player and decided to watch "The ConjuRAIN". It was about a doll that cursed the world with floods and tsunamis. When we were watching it, Frances wasn't even scared! When the movie ended, she asked me if she could go hang out with Nathan and the group. I said sure and I gave her the gem that I picked up. We talked about it for a moment and she walk out my dorm with a smile in her face. I then settled down and made myself comfortable and re think what happended to us today.

A couple of minutes later, I stood up from my couch and decided to go to the baskerball court and hang there. I wanted to be there to hang out with Josh and Joe but I think no one's there. I went there, passing a couple of friends and people and finally, Josh came to talk to me! "Dude! Are you and Frances already had a proper date?" Josh said with a smile on his face, it looked like he really wants to know what happended to us. " You really want to know right?" I replied back. In the meantime, we went and talked about what happend to each of our lives.

" So you're dating a girl named Aryille?" I talked to Josh about his love life. We finally went inside the caffeteria and sat down on a chair. " Yeah, it can be... " After Josh replied to me, I saw Gabriella and Chrystal eating inside the canteen. " Hey Josh? Do you want to move tables?" I told him if we can go to Gabriella and Chrystal's table. We went there and sat beside eachother. The two girls were talking to each other about something about Frances and Nathan which made me a bit uncomfortable.

"Uh," I tried to make the two girls notice me. It didn't work but it Josh did. "Dude, what are you doing?" Josh asked out in curiousity. He kept asking me in a low voice. Annoying me to get his answer. "Hey girls! What are you two talking 'bout?" I finally said with strenght.

The girls then faced me, went and sat beside my seat, and leaned to my ear. "Don't get mad at us, 'lright?" Chrystal said; keeping her voice as low as possible. "So, you know that Frances and Nathat are hangin-" Before she even continued her sentence, I went outside the canteen with frustation. I waited outside with my arms crossed.

The three then went out the canteen and surrounded me. "Bro, why are you mad?" Josh raised an eyebrow and asked me. I kept my mouth shut; ignoring his question. The two girls were confused. Scratching their hair as if they have something on their heads. "Why are you mad at us?" One of the girls, Gabriella, faced me. I looked away and still kept my mouth shout. After minutes of silence, we saw Frances and Nathan talking to each other. I was even more angry seeing the two together.

"Hey," I told Frances, who was busy talking with Nathan about  something about with gems or something. She looked at me and went near me. "Hey, Mark! What's up?" She replied, putting an arm around my shoulder. "Can I, borrow you for a moment?" I shyly asked her. She was confused and asked me a question. "Why? Is there something wrong?" She asked worriedly. I carefully take of her hand and held it. Blushing lightly. "Can we go to a place where everything is quiet? I want to talk to you about something..." I told her with my cheeks slowly turning red. I saw her again talking to Nathan about something but she immediately came back to see me.

I then grabbed Frances and told my friends that we are going to the library. After some minutes, we finally went to the library. I grabbed a book and found us a seat. We sat on the seats near the table and read the book I got. "Hey Frances," I whispered to her; making my voice as low as I can. She raised an eyebrow and made a 'what' face. "Can I talk to you?" I continued my sentence. She then put her book down and listened to me. "Sure, why not?" She replied back with her enthusiastic voice. I then became serious and made myself clear so she can understand.

"Do you like Nathan?"

Hey guys! Its me again! Sorry for the very very slow update. We kinda didn't have internet then but now, we have a stable wifi! Anyway, there will be a sequel to ONE DAY. If this book is done, (which will be later on) I will do the sequel. The sequel BTW, is their son/s and daughter/s. Anyway, I would want to thank @Aneira_Serket for like making me to do this. THAT IS ALL PEEPS!
