Once the drone started up, Joon-yeong took it for a test drive. Hyun stayed back, not wanting to accidentally wound up hit.
"Holy crap." Dae-su laughed as he watched the drone.
"That thing's crazy fast." Gyeong-su grinned, looking towards Na-yeon who just shrugged.
"I'll take it outside after I find Cheong-san." Joon-yeong said. "If I find any rescuers out there, I'll land in front of them."
"Wait a second." Nam-ra started, glancing towards Joon-yeong. "They say when people know their situation is hopeless, that's when they despair."
"Sweet saying." Dae-su said, raising an eyebrow in confusion. "But what does that mean?"
"Even if everyone in the world but us turned into zombies, we can't fall in to despair." She clarifies.
"Ahh. So that's what that means?" Dae-su sighed.
"Nam-ra." On-jo spoke, looking at the class president. "It's best to make a plan and try to stick to it, but we're not all top students, and we can't be as smart as you."
"Being logical isn't part of human nature." Nam-ra responded calmly. "In a crisis, it's better to be logical." She may be the smartest, but that's only because she studies 24/7. She can't even make friends, and everyone just thinks it's because she thinks she's better than everyone else.
"We need hope more than logic." On-jo said. "Don't you think that's best right now?"
"Hey. I think… flying the drone is what we need right now." Dae-su mumbled, pointing to the drone eagerly. Once everyone stopped talking, he turned towards Joon-yeong in excitement. "Okay. Try it."
All the students and Ms. Park looked towards the screen, watching the monitor as the drone flew around, zombies roaming the hallways.
*~*~*
"I shouldn't even bother studying." Mi-jin groaned. "I can't take my CSAT anyway. Shit. I'll never studying again as long as I live." Sometimes Eun-woo cannot understand the older girl.
"Can you please be serious for once in your life?" Ha-ri ordered in annoyance.
"I'm dead serious right now." Mi-jin scowled. "What are you gonna do? Keep looking for your brother?"
"The archery center has an emergency phone." Ha-ri explained. "It automatically connects to emergency services."
"Should we go there?" Eun-woo asked.
"Obviously," Mi-jin scoffed. "Don't be so fucking dense."
"Leave her," Ha-ri ordered, gesturing for Eun-woo to keep up. "We got a hotline installed a while ago because of some injuries."
"And if it doesn't connect?" Mi-jin rose an eyebrow. "All the phones and internet are dead."
"It doesn't matter." Ha-ri gesturing to her quiver. "That's where all the arrows are anyway. I have less than left. We'll need more if we wanna leave the school alive."
"Go to the archery center so we can get your arrows." Mi-jin muttered. "Then we should probably go home or maybe go to a supermarket. You know. In most zombie movies, the ones that go to supermarkets always manage to survive in the end. And they have cigs."
"The dumpsters are right under these windows." Min-jae said softly. "I think it's better to jump than use the stairs."
"Yeah. Let's jump." Mi-jin scoffs. "Falling from the third floor is way better than falling your exams, right?"
"Hey, let me get a word in!" Jun-seong groaned, trying to talk for a while but no one was listening.
"Hey, Min-jae." Ha-ri ordered. "Go down first and shoot any that come running."
"Okay." Min-jae nodded.
"Then you three go down and help him out as much as you can." Ha-ri continued. "I'll cover you out in the hallway and bring up the rear."
"Jun-seong wants to say something," Eun-woo said. The others glanced over at the big guy.
"Uh, I think we should just stay here. The adults will rescue us." He says.
"If you wanna stay, be my guest." Ha-ri scolds. "But I don't trust adults." She then turns to glance outside.
"Ahh, shit. She's just so my type." Mi-jin sighed.
Eun-woo held back a grin at that. She knew she wasn't being delusional now. The shorter girl just might have a little...big crush on the Archer. Eun-woo didn't blame her.
"I'm too scared to stay here alone." Jun-seong sighed.
Then one at a time, they started jumping onto the dumpsters with Ha-ri shoving Mi-jin down.
Eun-woo glanced down nervously. "I'm scared of heights..."
"We don't have time for this," Ha-ri glared, keeping watch.
Min-jae sighed and looked up, "I'll catch you."
Eun-woo held her breath slowly climbed out, letting herself fall. She managed not to scream, not wanting to attract zombies. Keeping true to his word, Min-jae caught the short girl and then set her down. Last was Ha-ri, looking so cool as she landed. Mi-jin obviously thought so, with her heart eyes...

Hyun squinted her eyes as she noticed arrows sticking from the zombies' necks. "Hey, look!"
"What?" Joon-yeong stopped the drone.
"There's a fucking arrow!" Hyun gasped, looking at the screen.
"My older sister." Wu-jin gulped. "She had a competition today." Hyun glanced at the arrow, then turned to Wu-jin.
"Didn't she win, though?"
"I don't know," Wu-jin said quietly. "She was supposed to. No, sorry, mom and dad really wanted her to. They'll be very disappointed and angry if she didn't...even in this mess..."
Hyun folded her arms in thought.
Joon-yeong continue to fly the drone around, trying desperately to find Cheong-san.
"It's Cheong-san!" On-jo cried, pointing to the screen.
"Cheong-san!" Dae-su yelled, trying to get Cheong-san's attention. Hyun snorted at that.
"He… He can't hear you." Joon-yeong said matter-of-factly, but that didn't stop him.
"Cheong-san is alive!" Gyeong-su laughed excitedly and wrapped his arms tightly around Na-yeon, causing her to let out a surprised squeak. But she hugged back.
Joon-yeong flew the drone out into the city, letting them see the whole destruction of the town. Zombies everywhere.
"Wait a minute." Ji-min spoke, pointing. "That's my dad's car." Ji-min broke down as Hyo-ryung and Na-yeon hugged her tightly. The three girls were friends for a long time, more so Hyo-ryung and Ji-min. Na-yeon entered their group just last year.
Zombies knocked the drone down and attacked it as it died.
