"I'm sorry, the doctors still is waiting to give you guys information but right now it's just best to wait," The lady at the front desk asked. Ma'lani was the first one to get here to see what was up with her man and I couldn't blame her. Dylan cried so hard and worrying so much when they told us they couldn't tell us what is happening since they were still under surgery.
Milan had Malayiah sitting on her lap while I held Kaomi close to my chest since she was getting cold and I had her pink blanket over her as she breastfed. Dylan had her head on my shoulder still staring off not saying a word but you knew that one question was on her mind.
Ma'lani kept walking back and forward to the vending machine and ended up laying on Dylan lap. We all played that waiting game in the waiting room just wanting to know what the hell is going on.
When Milan saw us walk in all she did was throw her head up. When I tried to ask her was happened she just shrugged so I just didn't care to ask her anymore.
"Hi Ms. Rosey" Laylay had said. I smiled and waved.
"Hi pretty girl, are you okay?"
"Yes ma'am, is baby okay? She's very quiet under the pretty pink blanky," I laughed a little when she said said that. I nodded, "yes she okay just trying to fill up her tummy right now"
She lied back in her mom shoulder and Milan rubbed up and down her back. I cleared my throat before I started talking again, "Are you okay, Milan and be honest right now."
After about 5 seconds she responded, "No...not really" I kind of looked down.
"What wrong if you don't wanna talk about it it's fine," She weakly smiled at me.
"Teleiya isn't responding to known of my messages about Lay and we agreed on doing good coparent and she's not even responding to my texts and I've been having Lay for 3 weeks and I haven't heard nothing from her and I'm trying to just keep up with my bills and trying to spend time with Kaomi and both of the girls actually and it's hard doing that being a single parent especially when one of your kid mom isn't cooperating"

"What you say?" Milan looked at me smiling.

Milan shook her head smiling, "you know you're always welcome to bring lay over so she can play with Kaomi and I know she's a baby but maybe she won't be so lonely and you can go do other things and they also need build that sister ship or that bond"
"I miss you, Sahanii I really do and I know that probably doesn't mean much but it be so lonely waking up to the house being empty and you not bugging me. I miss us as a family going to the park to have a picnic and I love that you include lay even if she isn't your biological child but you always treat her as she is. I just miss your smile and your touch and your silly ways about yourself, I miss us singing together to sing the girl to sleep. Everything isn't about you know doing the do everything is about how you present yourself to be a good mother to Kaomi and you're doing so good at it"
I wanted to start giggling, swinging my feet and I slowly start stepping off business.
"I miss you too, Normani, I always have" She had a big goofy smile on her face.
"Can I give you a kiss on the cheek?" I rolled my eyes and smiled and nodded my head
She gave me and big kiss on my cheek and it was wet and she keep hoe much I hate when she does that.
"Eww Milan," I wiped the wetness off my cheek.
"Why would you wipe my kiss off, lil nigga?" She mugged me and she kissed my cheek again but this time it was a good kiss.
"Jaxon Lee family and Kayla Gardner family" The doctor announced.
