PRESENT TIME Dallas, Tx
After dropping off Kaomi Milan took me to my nail appointment and she sat there typing fast on her phone. I would try to make conversation with her but she wouldn't budge.
After the application I went to go wash my hands and I came back and still Milan was typing fast. "Are you okay mylove?" I asked while sitting down.
"Ya I'm fine," still keeping her eyes on her phone. I nodded my head and my nail tech proceeded to do my nails. Once we were done Milan paid for my nails and we walked to the car she opened the door and I got it.
She started smiling while typing and I pushed her phone down, "do you like my nails?" I showed her in her face trying to be annoying so I can get some type of attention.
She pulled back her phone again to her face, "I saw them while she was doing them Sahnaii." She said In a mono tone voice.
My chest started to ache, "I thought you said you were going to get matching nails with me?" She looked up and stared at me for a couple of seconds.
"Maybe another time," she begin typing again. I balled my fist up and punched her in her arm I felt a tingle in my throat and my eyes start to swell with tears.
I tried to snatch her phone but she snatched it back and put it under her thigh, "I'm really starting to not like you Milan, Fuck you." I said out of anger.
All she did was stare at me and I couldn't get an emotion out of her just from staring at her eyes. It's like she doesn't give a single fuck.
She turned the car on, "I care for you still and I will...forever." She said putting the car in drive and drove off.
I leaned back looking out the window.
The car ride was silent but Milan kept her hands on my thighs tracing hearts over my stretch marks.

After the 4hours of driving we finally made it to this shore. She told me to stay in the car and she came to my side to open the door. "Put this on." She gave me an eye masks.
"Milan if you're going to do a sneak attack and put me in the ocean, then yes I did eat your Oreo ice cream" She shook her head chucking.
She guided me and I felt the wind blowing, we finally got to the end and music was playing in the background and Milan put her face into the crook of my neck and we swayed side to side as she was rubbing my stomach.
I've been waiting for this.
She took the blind hold off and there I saw a boat a big boat then I started to realize the boat was a cruise boat but then I realized we were the only person here then I started to put the dots together.
I turned around saw huge letters behind her, "Will you marry me?"
Her standing there looking very anxious, "Sahanii Rose, these past two months have been Internally killing me. With every passion I have in my soul I give to you, without you I wouldn't be clean, I wouldn't have the amazing daughter, my life would be still a mess and I wouldn't have you as my peace. I want to say thank you for loving me and even the parts that aren't easy to love. Thank you for holding me down when I needed someone to hold onto.
I always thought it would've been difficult to find someone who will love me when I'm always scattered in a thousand pieces it's like trying to complete a puzzle when you don't even know if you have all the right pieces but then you showed me that every piece doesn't have to be in place to create something beautiful that love can exist in the most imperfect lost and broken people and I promise you that love will be just as beautiful if you're in a thousand pieces and not just one."
"Sahanii Rose Will you make me the happiest person and marry me?"
"Y-yes, yes I will" she slid the ring onto my finger and I clung onto her neck and gave her kissed on her neck, cheek and jaw up to her lips.
And this time the kiss did last more than 20seconds.
