"So, are we doing a pyramid or are we doing acro tricks?" Blaire asked Santana at her locker. They were mapping out a new routine that they wanted to try at practice.

"I was thinking pyramid while the guys did acro tricks around us," Santana smirked.

This was when Mercedes walked up to the both of them. Blaire was a little nervous, they hadn't talked since she left the club so why was she coming up to them now? "Hi, Santana, Blaire. How many solos did you guys get in Glee Club last year?"

"A few," Santana shrugged, fixing her eyelashes in her mirror.

"Yeah same, a few," Blaire nodded.

"One: "Valerie. " And I loved it," Mercedes corrected. "Blaire, you got maybe two. Listen, if you guys were in Shelby's group, we'd get all the solos and the duets. Our voices sound amazing together. Plus, it's an all-girl group."

Santana raised an eyebrow, closing her locker suspiciously. "Why would I care about all-girl?" The three started walking down the hall as Mercedes explained.

"It's all lady power all the time. I mean, Shelby's a great teacher. I'm... I'm hitting notes I didn't even know existed. She gets me-what I have to give. It feels good."

Blaire smiled at her, "that's amazing Mercedes."

Santana sighed a little, but didn't sound too disappointed, "You know, honestly, I wish I could, but... somebody's got to look out for Brittany. I mean, that special place where she lives, yeah, it's beautiful, but... someone's got to help her cross the street. I could never just leave her." Blaire nodded, Brittany being alone was bad. Last summer she spent it exploring the sewers and everyone just thought she was on vacation.

Mercedes shrugged, "Get her to come with you. Blaire?"

She looked conflicted, it sounded great and she would probably have a lot of fun but– "you know I would, but Blaine just got here and so did Alonzo, I can't betray them like that, you know how dramatic Blaine is." Mercedes nodded.

"Okay, well, if you change your mind, you know where to find me, girl," Mercedes waved and the two cheerios made their way to the glee club.

The next glee rehearsal, Tina came in bawling her eyes out and Blaire avoided her. She really didn't want to be around when graduation inevitably came up.

"You know what, girl Chang? If you cry every time someone gets a hangnail, it kind of starts to lose its effect," Santana snapped at her, annoyed.

Alonzo sat next to Blaire and looked at Tina confused, "what's wrong with her?"

"Mercedes," Blaire explained.

"It's not a hangnail," Tina cried angrily. "Mercedes was one of Glee's original members. I feel naked in here without her."

"Yeah, well, get used to it," Puck said in annoyance. "'cause without her singing for us, we're going to have to perform naked for the judges to vote for us at Sectionals."

Mr. Schue shook his head, "No. I will not let this setback crush our spirits. I mean, we have handled worse."

The entire club looked at him confused, no matter what they went through, they could always count on most of their singing abilities, but now they were down one.

"Than losing one of our best singers?" Mike questioned him.

"Kind of hard not to blame you, Mr. Shue. Think you were too hard on her at Booty Camp," Quinn voiced her opinion that Blaire rolled her eyes at. They were all hard on her, they had to be she wasn't working and was keeping everyone behind.
