Jimin's POV

After taking a shower, I immediately went downstairs to inform my mom about not going to work for today because of my plan on donating blood for Seulgi's mom.

"Mom.. I won't be able to go to work today.", I said.
"What? Why?", she asked me.
"Mom.. please don't tell this to Seulgi and to her mom.", I told her.
"Why? What is it?", she asked me.
"I'm planning to donate blood for Seulgi's mom..", I said.
"Wh—What?", she said.
"I asked their family physician yesterday if a blood transfusion can treat anemia, and he said yes. Mom, this is the only right thing I could do, and I wanted to do something right for them, knowing that someone from our family gave them undeserving pain.", I said.
"Jimin...", she said.
"Just let me do this, mom! I want to do something right, especially for Seulgi.", I said.
"Go ahead! But please tell them the truth about you, donating blood to Dr. Kang!", she told me.
"I will!", I said.

After Seulgi went downstairs, we immediately went inside my car along with my mom as I immediately started driving away to go to the hospital.

"You're not going to work?", she asked me.
"Yeah!", I said.
"Why?", she asked me.
"I have something important to attend with my mom today.", I told her.
"Oh! Alright.", she said.
"Don't worry! I'll still pick you up after your schedule ends.", I told her.
"Ok! Thanks!", she said.
"Seulgi, will it be ok if I can visit your mom later?", my mom asked Seulgi.
"Of course, auntie!", Seulgi said.

The moment I arrived at the hospital, my mom and I immediately went straight in the phlebotomy room to proceed with the blood extraction.

"Good morning Dr. Park! Are you ready for the procedure?", the physician of Seulgi's mom asked me.
"Yes doc!", I said.
"Alright! Let's start, then!", he said when my mom suddenly held my hand.
"I'm proud of you!", she told me.
"This is the only right thing that I could think of in order to redeem myself, mom! And I wanted to do something right for them atleast!", I said.

Seulgi's POV

The moment I arrived at the hospital, I immediately went straight inside my mom's hospital room. Jimin will be on leave today, since he had to attend something important with his mom.

"Hi mom!", I said as I hugged her.
"Hey darling! How are you doing?", she asked me.
"I'm doing just fine!", I said.

And while we're talking, our family physician suddenly came inside as we all stopped whatever they're doing.

"Good morning, Dr. Kang!", our family physician said.
"Oh! Good morning, Dr. Kim!", my mom said.
"I have good news regarding your treatment.", he said.
"What is it?", my mom asked.
"Apparently, blood transfusion can also be used as treatment for anemia, and yesterday, someone decided to donate blood for you.", he said.

Someone donated blood for her? Well, bless those people who did such a generous offer! I thankfully thought to myself.

"So.. when will the procedure happen?", I asked.
"In just a few hours time. One of our nurses will just guide her in the phlebotomy room for the procedure.", he said.
"Oh! Alright!", I said.
"Dr. Kim, when am I allowed to get discharged?", my mom asked.
"After the procedure, we will still monitor you if you will experience negative side effects, so that we can determine if you are fit to be discharged already. And Dr. Kang, please continue to take your medications even after the procedure ends.", the doctor said.
"Oh! I see, thank you so much Dr. Kim!", my mom said.
"Thank you doc!", I said.
"You're welcome! I have to go now! Good morning once again!", the doctor said as he left.
"Well, I guess you're about to leave the hospital soon, mom!", I happily told my mom.
"I know! But.. who donated blood for me?", she asked.
"I don't know either! But whoever they are, I just want to thank them from the bottom of my heart.", I said.
