Seulgi's POV

The moment Jimin and I arrived at the hospital, Jimin went to the washroom for a while before going inside my mom's hospital room. Before I could go out and pay for my mom's discharge, I immediately helped her pack her stuff while waiting for Jimin to come inside.

"So mom.. who's your blood donor?", I asked her.
"I hope you won't get mad..", she said.
"Don't worry, I won't!", I said.
"It was Jimin! He was the one who donated blood for me!", she said.

So it was him all this time?! I guess my hunches were right! I thought to myself. I have to repay his kindness!

"So it was him?", I said.
"Yeah! I hope you're not mad..", she said.
"I'm not! I'm just surprised, and with what I just knew now.. I guess I finally made my decision on whether I should forgive him or not!", I said.
"And that is?", my mom asked me.
"I'm ready to forgive him, mom!", I told her.
"Go! Go grab the opportunity to talk to him, because I can also tell that he's dying to talk and reconcile with you!", she told me.
"I will! And I'm not going to waste that opportunity!", I said.

And while we're talking, the door suddenly opened as Jimin came inside.

"Hi! Sorry if I took to long!", he said.
"It's ok!", my mom told him with reassurance.
"Umm.. Jimin.. is it ok if you can help my mom pack her things? I'll just go outside to pay for her discharge!", I told him.
"Yeah sure!", he said.
"Thank you!", I said as I walked out of the room.

Author's POV

While Seulgi is outside, arranging the payment for her mom's discharge, Jimin was left in the room with Seulgi's mom, so he immediately helped her pack her things.

"How's my daughter doing while I'm gone?", her mom asked him.
"She's doing fine! There were times where I caught her, crying because of your situation and because of what she's going through and I was always there to assure her that I'll always be there for her no matter what happens.", Jimin said.
"Jimin, I know that it's getting tiring for you but.. thank you for taking care of my daughter!", Seulgi's mom said.
"You're welcome, auntie! And I'll never ever get tired of loving your daughter!", Jimin told her.
"Did you two reconcile with each other already?", she asked him.
"Not yet! Seulgi told me yesterday that she's no longer mad at me. It's just that.. she's not yet fully ready to forgive me probably because I might repeat the same mistakes again, but I told her that whatever decision she makes, I'll respect it!", he said.
"Whatever decision she'll make, I just hope your love for her won't change!", she told him.

And while they were talking, the door suddenly opened as Seulgi returned from the reception area.

"Mom! I'm done already!", Seulgi said.
"Alright! We can go home now!", Seulgi's mom said.
"I'll just help you with your things, auntie!", Jimin said as he grabbed some of her bags.
"Thank you Jimin!", she said.

Jimin's POV

A few minutes later, I finally arrived at the gate of Seulgi's house. Her mom opened the gate so we could enter, while I helped Seulgi grabbed her mom's baggages behind my car.

"Is that all?", I asked her.
"Yeah!", she said.
"Jimin, why don't you join us for lunch?", her mom asked me.
"Auntie, I would love to but I have to do something important at home.", I said.
"I see! Maybe next time!", she said.
"Thank you and I'm sorry auntie! I'll try to find spare time the next time I drop by your house.", I said.
"Sure! I'll see you on Monday!", she told me.
"You too, auntie!", I said as I was about to open the car so that I could hop in, only for Seulgi to stop me.
"Jimin!", she said as I stopped and turned to her.
"Hmm?", I said in response.
"Thank you!", she said as she approached and hugged me.
