Author's POV

After grabbing some breakfast, Seulgi immediately went back inside their bedroom and changed into something comfortable as she and Jimin started preparing to go and visit their parents. Recently, she kinda noticed that the buttons of her pants would no longer clasp together, probably because of her growing belly, so she just decided to wear a comfortable dress today.

"Are you ready to go, sweetheart?", Jimin asked her as she went downstairs.
"Mhm! I'm excited to see our parents!", she said.
"Me too! Let's go!", he told her.

They immediately hopped in inside his car, and then they buckled their seatbelts as he started driving so they could both visit their parents together. I can't wait to see their reaction about my pregnancy! Seulgi thought to herself.

Seulgi's POV

A few minutes later, we finally arrived at our parents' house. Here goes nothing! I thought to myself as I unbuckled my seatbelt.

"Are you ready to see them?", Jimin asked me.
"Yeah!", I said with a hint of nervousness present in my voice.
"I know you're nervous but.. I'm sure they'll be delighted to hear that they're about to be grandparents soon!", he told me with reassurance as we got out of his car.

We immediately pressed the doorbell, and then later on, our parents opened the door as they welcomed us inside their house.

"Hey moms!", I said as I hugged both my mom and Jimin's mom.
"Hey darlings! How are you both doing so far?", Jimin's mom asked us as she hugged her son.
"We're doing great, mom!", Jimin said.
"Oh, take a seat! It must've been a long ride for the both of you!", my mom said as Jimin and I sat on the couch beside them.
"Thanks mom!", I told her.
"By the way, Jimin told me earlier on the phone that you both have something to tell us.", Jimin's mom said.
"Umm.. yeah! We actually have to show something to the both of you..", I said as I handed them my ultrasound copy.

The moment I handed them my ultrasound copy, their eyes immediately lit up in excitement as they both covered their mouths in shock. I know that they'll be good grandparents to our child! I happily thought to myself in relief.

"You're—You're pregnant?", Jimin's mom asked me.
"Mhm! I'm 2 months pregnant already!", I said as my mom hugged me.
"Congratulations to the two of you!", she said, and then later on, Jimin's mom hugged me.
"Congratulations, my darlings! I'm sure you both will be good parents!", Jimin's mom said.
"How are you feeling, now that you're about to be a mom?", my mom asked me.
"I'm excited but.. I'm scared and nervous, especially when I'm about to give birth!", I said.
"It's ok! That's normal for first time moms to feel scared, since they just want to have a safe delivery!", Jimin's mom told me with reassurance.
"Jimin, please take of Seulgi always! She's not allowed to be stressed, you know.", my mom told Jimin.
"Don't worry, mom! I'll take good care of her always, and by the way.. I already told Dr. Kim to limit her working hours, knowing that she's pregnant.", Jimin said.
"That's good to hear! And you don't have to worry, because your mom and I will be here to guide you in this journey!", Jimin's mom told me.
"Thank you so much!", I said as she held my hand for comfort and support.
"We can't wait to see our grandchild!", my mom said.
"How will you tell your friends about this good news, by the way?", Jimin's mom asked him.
"We'll just ask them to visit us in our house after we leave.", Jimin said.
"Oh alright! For sure they'll be delighted to hear the good news!", my mom said.
