Chapter 22

3rd person POV
2 years later

It's officially been 5 years since the snap so I guess you know what's about to happen.

Bruce and Rocket landed just outside Thor's house they got out and bumped into Valkyrie. "Vallkryie!" She looked at him "I think I prefer you either of the other ways" Bruce laughed unhumorously.

"Where are Loki and Thor?" "Thor is in retirement and he's living in that building" she pointed at the building behind her "Wait is Loki king then?" Bruce was considerably confused "No I am. Loki has isolated themselves in the library I've hardly seen them and Thor has only seen them slightly more"

Bruce nodded and followed Rocket into the building Val pointed at. They walked in and saw Thor sleeping on the couch "Thor?" He snored but didn't wake up "Thor!" Thor sat quickly "What- who? What?"

"Are you ok" he looked at Bruce and Rocket "My friends!" He gave them both a hug "Don't ever retire!" "What's up with you?" "I have been so bored you have no idea. I've been sleeping so much"

"So why are you here?" "Stark and scott think they found a way to bring everyone back" his mood dropped slightly "and you want my help?" "I want you and Loki's help. How are they anyway?"

Thors eyes flicked towards Rockets before looking back at Bruce "Better I think. They've certainly been eating more. I'm not sure about sleeping. They're still isolating themselve which I dont quite understand" "They've gone through a lot maybe they just wanted a break from the chaos of their life." "And now you want to bring them back into the chaos?" "Well it might be slightly better then being isolated" Thor flicked his tongue.

"Ok they're in the library I'll take you" "This place has a library? It seemed more like a theme park" "I guess it sort of is we were gonna get rid of it but Loki wanted it and it might be good to have literature for everyone living here"

He took them to the library it wasn't that far but they were all silent the entire time. Rocket and Thor haven't seen eachother in 5 years and Bruce and Thor haven't seen eachother in about 4 years.

Thor opened the door "Loki? Brother?" Loki was sitting on a armchair but they didn't have a book in their hand it was a file. They were wearing black leggings, a black skin tight top and a green cardigan. Thor approached him cautiously. Luckily it looked like they've slept recently enough so they shouldn't be too edgy.

Thor knelt Infront of them and they just looked at him "I'm not that fragile Thor what's up?" Thor just stood up akwardly "sorry it's just you looked upset?" "I mean I was I guess just my old file" "you where reading your file?" "No of course not I was reading other me's file" Thor sort of rolled his eyes.

Loki's eyes flicked behind Thor and that's when they saw Bruce and Rocket. "Umm... Ok?" They stood up walking towards them "what have you done to yourself?" "What do you mean?" "I mean why are you a merger of the hulk and yourself?" "So I don't have to fight with an alter trying to take control every 10 seconds? Now I have the brains and the brawn. How come your not scared of me this is the first time you've seen the hulk since New York in 2012"

"It's just... Your not all that terrifying to be honest" he pushed up his glasses furring eyebrows "thanks" "your most welcome. Why are you here?" "We found away to bring everyone back" "what time travel?" "Yeah actually?" He answered confused. Loki just sort of laughed to themself "Right yeah sure" they didn't say anything "Wait we're actually gonna get to travel through time?" "That's the hope"

They started jump up and down clapping their hands. "Omg! Omg! Omg! Let's go!" They started walking out Loki following excitedly behind them when Thor grabbed their arm "What in the shit are you doing?" "I've been reading into time travel it sounds so cool and not everyday someone gets to do that!" "I mean your energy?"

"Your acting like you've never seen me like this?" "Well I have but after everything that's happened" "if I was to just live in misery over what happened that wouldn't be life worth living now would it?" "I suppose not" "then come on!"

Loki ran to the ship with Thor following after. They sat down at the back when Loki leaned into the front "Is there anyway we can make a quick pit stop?" "Umm ok where?" "The asylum please" they sat back down "There's someone I need to visit"

"Ok" their leg was bouncing like crazy which Thor took noticed too aswell as the slight picking on skin. Rocket came into the back sitting across from Loki "So what's your deal?" "What do you mean?" "What's your story?" "That's insensitive what if I just asked you what your story is?" He nodded "that's fair"

"So what are you a rabbit? A racoon?" "I'm not really anything I'm just me" "I get that" the silence took over again until Rocket eventually sat back in the front to Bruce's relief as he could fly the ship but only just and only from Loki teaching him during Sokovia.

Thor turned to Loki "How come you locked yourself away?" Loki was getting sick of the deep conversations at this point "When I got there everyone was staring at me and I know that they still hate me, fed Odins lies about me and you didn't even bother to reach out. Also I was reading T. S. Elliott and witches magic and it was really good" "are you a witch?" "We were raised by a witch remember but no it was just about socery"

"I'm sorry I didn't reach out more I just thought you didn't want to hear from me" "of course I did you oaf"

They landed right Infront of the asylum and Loki sort of ran in to the reception "is Campbell here?" "Who?" Ms Brady came over "Bettany!" "That's sounds weird coming from you. Why are you here?" Thor came trailing in "I was hoping to talk to Campbell?" "Oh emm he got discharged shortly after you?" "Where is he then? Sutton?" "No he's in the apartment block across the road. He's on the top floor last door if you want to talk to him"

"Thank you!" Loki ran out and Thor was about to follow when she stopped him. "Is he ok?" He stopped and faced her "huh?" "Has he been socialising at all?" "No THEY haven't been" she nodded "I can understand that, they've never liked socialising with people they new didn't like them" "yeah" Thor was about to leave when he had formed one more question.

"Loki is hyperactive at the moment. They've had their moments through out they're entire life but is still don't know how to deal with it" "just let them be. They don't want it to be brought up or attention to it. They probably don't even notice it. Just respect it and if you can try and match there energy cause it feels so much better then being sad"

Thor nodded and followed after Loki.

I've been watching I'm a celebrity and it happens that Sam has ADHD so the fact I gave Loki ADHD means I just matched their mood swing with Sams energy.
