Batmans P.O.V

I woke up in my bed feeling great. I was hugging a hot water bottle and I felt well rested for once. I sat up and rubbed my eyes expecting to see some food and a note from Alfred. I was surprised to see Superman asleep on the floor. "Superman?" I asked, he stirred awake and after he saw me his face seemed to light up
"You're okay!" he said, I nodded.
"Why are you sleeping on the floor?" I asked, Superman looked sheepish
"Well, I wanted to make sure none of your villains (Joker, Riddler, ect) hurt you while you were sleeping but I don't think you'd like me stealing your bed." he said honstely, I nodded again. "Uhm, the Justice League agreed that you should take it easy so you're not going to have to come out of Gotham unless the world is ending." Superman joked, he stood up and cracked his joints then rubbed his neck.
"You can sleep in my bed." I said before I could stop myself, Superman looked at me in surprise then said
"Thanks," and fell down next to me, I looked at him
"If you need to get to the sun just say so." I said and I lay back down and fell asleep quickly.

Supermans P.O.V

I looked at Batman in shock, he would actully let me-- that's great actually, I'm tired from having to quickly fly back to the Justice League and fight the guy who banished us in the first place, J'onn agreed I would probably be more useful and stayed here, once I got back he left but Alfred and him talked, their good friends now apparently. I heard Batman say "If you need to get to the sun just say so," and he curled up on the bed behind me. I had noticed that about him, he never slept stretched out, I suppose it's because he would be vulnerable or that he is vulnerable during sleep so he at least sleeps in a protective position; yeah, that sounds like him.

I woke up feeling content but powerless (because Batmans whole lair was underground and there was no sun, I must've been down here for at least a few days and it is always cloudy in Gotham so it's fair), I noticed my chest was cold and looked down to see Batman curled up againt me, my arms were wrapped around him and I really wanted to go get my powers back but I didn't want to wake him up.

Suddenly Batman stirred in my arms, he blinked for a second then looked up at me and pushed me away shuffling over to the other side of the bed.
"Sorry, I didn't want to move and wake you." I said apologetically, "I mean, I didn't want to move- no, I didn't care about moving, or I did? I-I just, didn't want to wake you." I stuttered, he nodded and I got up but fell over, I just wasn't used to walking without my powers and quicly regained my balance.
"Your powers." he acknowledged. I smiled at him
"It's fine, I don't need them to survive." I said, he looked at me then stood up, stretching and cracking a few bones, he yawned then said
"Follow me," so I did, I followed him and he grabbed a pole and it whizzed him up and out of the Batcave, I looked at in uncertainly but tried and stumbled out of a clock which closed up behind me. I looked around, this must be his mansion which he lived under, I suppose he lives in it too. He turned to me and handed me a pair of glasses
"Clark Kent." he said
"You figured it out?" I said but he threw on a suit and fixed his hair which had been ruined by bed head, I noticed he purposly left out his tie and didn't fully fix his hair
"We all have parts we have to play; Bruce Wayne, party boy, but you already knew that." Batman said "You should get into the habit of calling me Bruce or Mr Wayne when I look like this." he said
"I already am." I said as I put on the glasses and Batm- Wayne handded me a plaid top and some jeans then said
"Right, you're a news reporter," he snorted "I don't know how no one else has noticed."
"You were saved by the Justice League and flirted with everyone." I said, reminding him how far we went to stay in character. He turned around and smirked
"Yeah," he put his hand on my chin and fixed my hair then licked his lips "You liked it?"
"UH- NO." I said even though my face was red, he laughed.
"Come on." he strutted to his limo and hosntely, I kind of wanted to swap secret identities. As Alfred started driving he turned to me "You can't be news reporter you, so no note books, audio recorders, excessive questions, ect." Bruce said, he looked at me as if considering something but dissmised it, he pulled a martini from a mechanical cup holder and started sipping
"It's 10 in the morning." I said
"And?" he stepped out of the limo as we pulled up to a Wayne industries, two girls immediately ran up to him, calling him pet names and twirling their hair. He laughed "Not right now ladies." he winked at them, wow he was a completely different person, I can see why he is always ruled out as a Batman candidate.

I followed him as we stepped into an elevator, there was no one else in it and we went straight up to the top floor, we walked out and immediately I relaxed as rays of sunlight streamed over my body, I stood in the sun for a moment and hummed in content as I felt my powers returning to me "Welcome to my pent house, above all the clouds and fogginess of Gotham, I hate it up here but somehow I still throw parties here at least once a week and as a bonus it's nice and peaceful at night (when there aren't any parties that is)." Wayne joked, I grinned at him.
"Thanks." I said
