Supermans P.O.V

Bruce cuddled into me and GL looked at us. Bruce slowly drifted off and relaxed into my hug as me and GL talked, I knew he was tired so I let him cuddle into me and stopped moving so I wouldn't disturb him.

I smiled as his breath evened out and he fell asleep again, GL tilted his head "Never thought I'd see this." he said quietly
"Yeah, I was so shocked when he actually liked me back." I whispered, GLs face lit up
"Cute stories. Now." GL demanded, I laughed.

Batmans P.O.V

Space is cold. It's a vacuum void of any life and always freezing cold, the ship had heaters but no one bothered to turn them on because of their powers and I wasn't about to bring up that I was chilly. Still, I loved the warmth that radiated off Kal and snuggled closer into him, I wondered how literally the taking energy from the sun thing was because it honestly felt like I was bathing in sunlight.

I was wrapped in Kals arms and smiled happily as he ran his fingers through my hair,
"G'morning B." Kal said tiredly, he pulled me closer and I readjusted myself so I was comfortable again "GL found out about us." Kal reminded me, I grunted noncommittally
"Just don't let Flash figure it out." I said with a yawn.

The sound of fast footsteps next to the door opened and we got to apart from of eachother right as the door opened, I spun around to grab my mask but Kal was already in front of me, I love his super speed.
"Hi Flash, he doesn't have his mask on." Kal explained
"You're aloud to see his face?" Flash said in mock hurt. I rolled my eyes but my mask was on so I just threw a batarang at Flash, he caught it.
"Tt." I said, Flashs eyes widened and I realised I was wearing pants but no shirt- and had not covered any scars
"Wow that is a lot of scars." Flash commented, looking slightly worried
"Why do I have to keep having this conversation. My reflexes are only this fast because of a lot of training. I do not have superhealing nor am I indestructible. I got here with training, not powers, and that requires mistakes. I. Do. Not. Have. Powers." I said, Flash winced,
"Uh, I was just going to ask if you wanted any cereal before I ate it all." Flash asked awkwardly
"No." I said.

Flash raced out of the room and Kal lay back down, I pulled my mask off with a sigh "He really never stops to think." I said angrily,
"I was thinking." Kal started, I turned to him to show I was listening "That pun wasn't intended but still."
"Yeah?" I asked
"Well, you do get hurt all the time. I'm going to medical school, I've been considering it for a long time now for various hero related reasons but you're the first reason which might actually be important and more than occasional." Kal said. I hated the way he was doing this all for me, but at the same time my heart melted.
"I'll pay for your tuition." I said
"Bruce! You don't have to!" Kal said quickly
"You don't have a choice." I replied.
"Okay, I can see I'm not going to win this." he said,
"You're really that used to me?" I asked, Kal smiled.
"Oh by the way Lois figured out I was dating someone, I didn't say it was you just that I was dating a boy. If she wasn't so dedicated to reporting I'd say you should make her into a detective." Kal joked. I smiled at the mention of Lois, I'd done background checks into her (no I wasn't jealous that she and Kal seemed to be dating) and she rivalled Wonder Womans spirt,.
"The things she's done to get a good story." I commented, amusement showed on Kals face
"You thought we were dating!" he deducted
"What?! No." I said
"You were jealous and looked into her!" Kal laughed, I pouted
"I figured it out in two days." I defended, Kal hugged my and despite myself I relaxed.

I stood up and put on some regular (and dark colour themed) clothes and my belt, then put my cloak on top to cover them. Kal looked at me
"Not going to put on the full suit?" he asked
"Just getting food and checking that Flash hasn't caused any major problems. Then coming back here, you said you wanted to show me a movie?" I asked Kal, his eyes lit up
"Yeah- I'll get popcorn and snacks." Kal said.

We walked out and chated about various things which required intimate knowledge of the others secret identity, just to annoy Flash of course, then I grabbed some ration bars. Kal looked at them in distaste and dumped some junk food and a few others things into my arms. I picked up a box and studied it
"What are these?" I asked
"Well B, judging by your general self I'm going to assume you've never had chicken nuggets. Both because you're permanently banned from the kitchen even the oven-" I glared at him "-and that Agent A would never let you eat anything less than the finest of-" I rolled my eyes and put my hand over his mouth
"Alright then farm boy." I said snarkily, "Waking up at the crack of dawn, you can never get any rest with you around." I muttered under my breath.

Me and Kal walked back down the hallway and I heard Flash yell
"WHAT WAS THAT!? BATMAN?! JOKING?! THE WORLD IS ENDING!!!" Flash yelled, I chuckled as he yelled 'WOE THE GALAXY WILL-' before his voice was dampened by the walls.

I pulled Kal into the room and dumped the food on the table for him to deal with then took off my cloak and put on one of Kals hoodies, I lay down on the bed
"If your movie is relentlessly cheerful you will have to forcefully restrain me of you ever want me to watch a movie with you again." I threatened, Kal smiled "I'm being serious Kal! Robin found it out hard way." I said, but I heard the strictness quickly drain from my voice as Kal hugged me. "I love you." I whispered under my breath, I knew Kal would hear it.

The movie ended and Kal was asleep with his arms wrapped around me. I was still awake but I wasn't paying as much attention as I should, even though Kal had fallen asleep I knew he would protect me. Kal cuddled closer into me and the warmth that radiated from him seemed to effect even my emotions. I started playing with his hair which was soft and actually really curly because usually it was straight from the wind and there'd been no chances to fly, as I did I tilted his head towards me, he is so pretty.

I must've fell asleep at some point because I woke up to the ship shaking violently, I could hear Kal and Flash yelling from the controls and I quickly put on my suit but the wall of the ship ripped open and I was pulled out.
