Monster

Batmans P.O.V

I snuck into the cave through a cave on the ceiling, I looked for a weak-spot becasue I doubt even my expolding batarangs would hurt the monster through its thick hide. The monster was pretty much an over-sized crocodile but with black scales, a glowing mouth (bioluminescent spit if I had to guess). Aquaman suddenly swam straight out of another cave and punched the monster right in the snout.

It looked straight back to Aquaman and roared loud enough to send Aquaman flying back. I sighed, he has no patience. Kal flew up and tried wrestling the Crocodiles like you would see people doing in Australian shows, only it was about, some margin bigger, I don't know. But if we grabbed one of the tips of it webbed and clawed toes, his legs would only reach the end of the foot.

I threw him a rope to make in easier and watched the fight to try and find the creatures weakness. I continued until Kal got thrown through the water and it became clear that the crocodile was wining.

I swam forwards and went to the creatures eyes as they were a weakness on most crocodiles. It immeditely realised I was probably a bigger threat and spun around to get its eyes away and slamp me with its tail, I went flying straight into the wall and had to stop for a moment as I felt the pressure compress and probably shatter some of my ribs and the sharp rocks scratch my skin.

It came back to attack me again and I swam to the side, this time the crocodile-monster snapped at me, unfortunately I cannot swim that fast and didn't even has time to build flippers into the suit. To save myself I swam into the hollow area in its mouth so I could avoid the bite. I threw a sleeping gas bomb into its throat and soon I heard a thud as its snout hit the floor and Kal pulled open it's mouth.

I swam to him and I let him support me and pull me out of the cave and through the tunnels as the water went murky with my blood.

I coughed and Kal caught my re-breather and put it back in my mouth, he pulled me into the closest air bubble to the exit of the tunnel and lay me on one of the rocks before taking out my re-breather and letting me cough out both blood and water. "Calm down." he said and he took off the top of my suit, wrapping the wounds in bandages.
"It could've been worse." I said as he finished and I tried to pull myself up
"Can you relax for one second?" Kal asked and he held me up. I fiddled with my super-suit, I couldn't pull the top up because of the bandages but I could clip my belt back on and pull on my cowl.

First I had to take off my cape because of drag in the water and now my top? Oh well.

I plunged myself into the water and winced as everything stung in the salt, "Let me help." Kal said and I let him pull me through the water
"Thank you Kal." I muttered,
"It's okay." Kal said and I groaned as I had to bend my back to get into the dinner room. I noticed Aquaman also had a broken leg. Once Kal helped me get close enough to the table I let go of him and we both stood next to it.

The Queen greeted us but I didn't hear her and the translation semmed blurry. I grabbed Kals shoulder as my body seemed to weight more than it should, "Wait, I don't feel..." everything went blurry "Kal?"

Aquamans P.O.V

Batman passed out and Superman looked at him,
"I'm going to take him to the air pockets." Superman said and he quickly got out one of the windows.
"[He'll be fine]." I reassured the queen.
"[But it was me asking for help which led to him getting hurt]!" Queen Amaro said
"[Not likely. He always ignores his own inguries, probably had some half healed ones he really should of gotten checked out before coming here]." I explained

Batmans P.O.V

I woke up in one of the air pockets hugging Kal. I hadn't noticed it until it stopped, but the dull ache in all my wounds had subsided. I hugged Kal tighter and nuzzled my face into his neck,
"Is there something going on between you two?" Aquaman asked out of nowhere and I pushed myself away so fast I didn't even see the water behind me and I fell straight back in.

Kal grabbed me and pulled me back into the air.
"No." he said to Aquaman, Aquaman looked at us for a few seconds before standing up
"Me and the queen are still writing the peace treaty." Aquaman said "But she assumes you will go home at least for a while, by the way they have no idea what to do with the giant alligator-"
"Crocodile."
"Well, if either of you want it they recon there is a larger tunnel that might take weeks to travel." Aquaman asked
"I'll get some guys on it." I said, looks like Bruce Wayne had a new pet. Walking into my office was going to be like 'ah, an aquarium. How peacefuuUAAAH OH MY GOSH' and I can't wait.
"Great," Aquaman made an unnecessarily large splash as he dived into the water.
"I'll take you back." Kal said "You need a proper doctor."
"Thanks." I replied.

Kal pulled me into my submarine, which I had left behind when the tunnel got too small, and I pulled out my re-breather.
"Come on." Kal said "I know you don't like to go to the doctors but at least get checked up in the leagues medbay."
"No." I said, Kal sighed
"Please? You're hurt," he gave me puppy eyes, something a man of his build and with his job shouldn't be able to do, but he could and it worked.
"Fine, but I'm not taking off my cowl." I said, Kal sighed in relief
"That's fine."

They can only knock it out, so Brucie Wayne has a new pet!
