By the way I don't know how air pressure works, so his suit protects him and the air pressure in the air pockets is normal.
And Quichan names have lots of vows and no blocky or solid letters, only elegant and smooth letters that go with vows. That's just how they do it.

Batmans P.O.V

I woke up to Kal shaking me awake, the little girls name had been Ione, pronouce I-oh-knee or I-oh-n-é. She had taught me the basics but had had to go home to sleep. I could pretty much say: yes, no, I don't understand, could you repeat that slowly, I don't speak Quichan, hello, goodbye, I am Batman, thank you, and please and from some basic stuff and conversations I been there for I could kind of make sentances. "We're going back to the Queen Amaros palace for dinner and a conversation/negotian Bruce." Kal said, he kissed me and I hugged him.
"Don't forget to use the sun lamps." I reminded him "They'll let you at least keep withstanding the pressure and holding your breath." I said, he looked at me
"Hey did you change the re-breather?" Kal asked
"Yeah, I changed it so it can pull oxegen from the water and filter out the salt. Before it was, breathe until there's too little oxegen then let the salt stack up and repeat." I said "It was only made for small swims and I didn't think I'd need to modify it." I admitted, "Here I made you a translator, it can clip onto your arm." I explained, he took it.
"Come one, their food and culture will be a whole new thing for you to study," Kal kissed me and pulled me toward the water
"How did you-" I started
"Oh come on, I see the way your eyes light up." Kal smiled and I put in my rebreather-now-breather and swam  down to the castle with him.

We swam into the dinner room. I looked at the food in intrest and realised they used large shell sanded down as plates, resourceful.
"[Batman, Superman]." Queen Amaro greeted, she seemed very relieved we would help her without asking for much, but I could tell that while she wasn't partically strong or ruthless she was a kind and fair leader who ruled her people well "[I hope you found your way here with little difficultly]?" she asked politely.
"[Yes, thank you]." I said, Kal looked at me
"You've Already Learnt It?!" he said it shock
"Just a bit. A local kid gave me lessons." I said
"[Can't beat Batman at anything]." Aquaman muttered and he sighed, the queen smiled and she noticed the new wristband clamped on Kals arm and how he looked at it whenever someone spoke
"[You already made a translator]?" she asked, sounding a bit shocked.
"Batman did, he's the smartest." Kal said and Aquaman translated
"[I am not that...] good." I said,
"[Good]." Aquaman chimed in
"[I am not that good]." I said, I looked at the queen "Aquaman, bring the conversation back to what's happening." I demanded
"[It's called small talk]." he argued "[Batman askes why you called us here]." Aquaman said
"[A few weeks ago some of our children ventured too far off into the caves, using ropes of sea weed of course. But they found a monster. Our people are non military, the guards are for show or incase of something like the monster -but either we, we cannot fight it. We have little to give but we have heard of your brave acts from Aquaman and need your help]." Queen Amaro said,
"Is there anything you guys want?" Aquaman asked
"You Aren't Actually Suggesting We-" Kal started angrily
"I plan on getting an immediate peace treaty between this place and Atlantis even though they have no military, the monster is just good to bring up in case they disagree." Aquaman argued
"I was going to ask if I could bring just one of some of their plants up to the surface to study." I said "I won't do it if their sacred or something along those lines so don't mention it if you're going to make the treaty a have-to-do."
"That's fair." Kal said, I looked at Queen Amaro who had gotten more nevrous for every second we talked
"[We will help you, on the condition of an immediate peace treaty with Atlantis. Stating at least that niether citys will prepear military against the other, neither citys will go to war, the most hostile both cities will get are debates, and unless one city asks neither will bother the other. We can do this after we beat your monster it will give us more time]." Aquaman said, the Queens ears shot up (their equivalent to smiling) and she quickly said
"[I will arrange for this to take place immeditely after the fight- or perhaps a few hours later]." Queen Amaro agreed "[Is there nothing you two want]?" she looked at us and Superman,
"[Superman wants nothing. Batman asks if we could bring one of a few of your plant species up to the surface to study. If their sacred or something along those lines he is fine with not having them]." Aquaman said
"[That can easily be arraged, or do you have your own way to transport them]?" Queen Amaro questioned
"[Yes]." I said "I don't have it on me but I'm more than happy to make the trip and back, I assure you it won't cause any distress."
"[He says 'I don't have it on me but I'm more than happy to make the trip to the surface and back, I assure you I won't cause any distress]." Aquaman translated what I couldn't say, the Queen nodded.
"[Thank you]." she said "[If you plan on fighting the monster immeditely-]"
"[Yes]."
"[Yes]."
"Yes." all three of us said in unison.
"[My guards will lead you to the tunnel]," the guards did what she said and came over to us
