Chapter 4

Y/n pov

I woke up to something moving under me.

"If you leave me again I swear" I mumbled into his neck. He laughed.

"I'm not leaving you. I'm just getting comfortable again" he said laughing.

"Good" I mumbled. He hugged me a little tighter and kissed my head.

"Your adorable" he whispered rubbing my sides. I looked up at him and kissed his cheek before laying back down on his chest. Then the door opened.

"You two want breakfast?" I heard Dad ask.

"Yeah," Bernard said looking down at me.

"Ok," Dad said before walking out. Bernard then rolled me over so I was next to him before he sat up. I sighed. He leaned over and kissed my forehead.

"I'm getting changed," he said.

"No," I said.

"Yeah"

He got up before I could respond. He grabbed clothes before going into the bathroom. He came back out and walked over to the bed. He sat next to me and moved some hair out of my face.

"You going to get up?" He asked.

"I guess," I said.

"Want me to grab your clothes?"

"Yeah"

"Ok snowflake," he said before kissing my forehead. He got up and I stretched before eventually sitting up. I rubbed my eyes before I heard him drop clothes in front of me. He grabbed me shorts and a crop top and one of the buttons up I had bought.

"Thank you," I said finally getting out of bed. I kissed his cheek before going to change. After I changed I walked back into our room where Bernard was remaking the bed. He turned around when he heard the door open. He smiled at me brightly.

"Hey, breakfast!" Dad yelled. Bernard grabbed my hands before we walked out. We sat down and Dad handed us plates.

"Looks good Dad," I said

"Thank you," he said sitting down.

"What's the plan for today?" I asked.

"I wanted to go look around I think," Dad said. "I don't know where. Maybe go to the beach"

"We can do where me and Bernard went yesterday," I said.

"Ok"

Bernard smiled next to me.

"Sounds good," he said.

We made it down to the beach and Dad had set up a chair. He sat down while me and Bernard put towels down again. We put on sunscreen before he picked me up and put me over his shoulder.

"Bernard" I yelped. He laughed as he started walking towards the water. "Dad! Help!" I said laughing. Dad just shook his head

"You got it covered" he called back

"No Dad!"

Bernard kept laughing before he suddenly dropped me into the water like he did yesterday. I quickly brought myself out of the water

"Why" I said as he laughed. He calmed down before answering me.

"Because it's funny," he said. I shook my head at him before I pushed him. He stumbled but didn't fall this time. "How'd that work out for you" he asked.

"Not fair," I said with a smile. "You're supposed to fall"

"No thank you"

"Yes," I said splashing him.
