I thought that the world is alright now. I mean, since the epidemics, meteors and earth shifts or intergalactic battles, we thought that challenges and wars are over. Gateway laboratory with its scientists and engineers have been discussing on issues concerning the world and the universe. They thought that earth have been changing shifts and that climate issues are the cause of it and we need to make a move or changes to resolve it.
If the Port is a portal where we can travel in and out of the galaxy up until the tip of the edge of the universe, we are experimenting on a new machine called Gateway 1. This is a machine where we can travel to the past, present and future which can be done digitally like we are walking, running and doing everything through holograms. And like a game we can now enter the system without worrying if we'll get lost or stuck there forever. Strange as it may sound it isn't a crazy idea now if it was before 25000 years. Gateway 1 is the thing and can amount to much, which is billions of dollars since James Webb and Port were built for many years. We're on the tenth year fixing and perfecting the machine, and Gateway 1 is going to be an ultimate masterpiece.

It turns out that Future Tech have been successful in building humanoids who looks like a real human and can satisfy a man or a woman with their sexual and physical desires or needs. There had been debates regarding this unusual and unhuman invention during year 2020 but now it's already a fad, a useful tool and companion for those who want a non-formal or non-committal relations. And most of the relationships nowadays are like this. But I remained faithful to my vow on promoting family and long-term relationships through 'punotao'.True love ove is still greater than invention or mechanical, temporal love. And I found it with Marina and her family. Mine is now successful and living in the Philippines. My biological family get in touch with each other once in a while and it is very touching when you see them happy to see or talk to you. Maybe I'll visit in my hometown soon too, with Marina and present her to them as my future wife. My adopted family, the Fort, are living in the states and are well. The Gates and Fort Family are very close and we have been enjoying our random outings or travels when we all have the time to do it. It's amazing how love grows and even if we meet new people in our lives, they can grow in you and miss them too like a real family or friend does.

How did they come up with an AI like this? We have experimented on such type where a female AI can make love to a human man and so on?, I argued.
Hmm...well, it's just easy. Men love sex and want to create a female that will not complicate things for them. In a real relationship with a human, a girl or woman, it's not easy to know their wants or needs. We sometimes assume and think we know our girlfriends or wives but we don't really! Like Marina and your Aunt Gwen! Haha! An AI can follow orders and do whatever you want them to do and that's what a robot can give, pleasure and loyalty. But that is insane, because there is no free will and will you be excited or get a lasting relationship with an artificial love or feeling? Yes, for a while but you'll get tired of it too in the long run!, Jack added while taking his pipe and putting dried cigar on it. I helped light it up for him and looked amazed with a pipe since I have never seen one before since we use digitized cigars now, where you can have refills online and all. Ah....I kept this and it's been with me for decades now, I lost count, haha.
Oh, yeah, right!, I said.
Well, that's the thing, this pipe lasts forever, and so does the AI female companion. With human females, they pass on and you can get another, same as with male AI's. Yet true love lives on in the memory, so, I think it's just a matter of how we see things and people, their worth and the value of relationships we keep, here, Jack said pointing to my heart. And not here, him pointing to my head.
Okay, I believe that too, dad!, I cried smiling and joined Jack (standing in the terrace overlooking the sea of Italy) to watch the sun set that is so captivating since the Gates Family home is in the center of the village and the sea, that you can see the magnificent sun rising and setting unbothered in the calm of Italy's most beautiful spot, Tuscany.
Gateway Lab wanted to build a digital center in the central part of Tuscany. After many years we did and is now operating as Europe's gateway laboratory until today.
Breakthrough's in science and technology has gone a long way. Now we have Gateway centers here, in many countries in Europe, America and Africa. And soon in Asia. I would love to stay in Italy but I still need to finish my work in New York which is the main office of Gateway.
I miss seeing mom and dad when they become so sweet and their love resonating back when I was still little. It's just that time flies swiftly that I'm no longer young but will be a mother soon too. I don't know how to tell Jason, and the family, but well...soon maybe!, Marina thought while looking at her parents lovingly. Jason is staring at me vividly which I didn't really saw he was doing it for a couple of minutes already. Babe! Is there something wrong?, Jason added while holding my hand since we're beside each other on the table.
