Loki wasn't sure how to use the Time Twister device. He just pressed a button on it, and just like that, he was out of the Time Theater and in the middle of a hallway. After he'd come to his senses, he spotted the analyst that the hunter gave the Tesseract to when he arrived here. Loki suspected that the analyst was his best shot at getting out of the TVA, so he decided to follow him.
Eventually, he managed to corner the analyst at his desk. He threatened the analyst—his name was Casey—to give him the Tesseract or else he was going to gut him like a fish, only to find out that Casey didn't know what a fish was.
How does anyone not know what a fish is? Loki thought.
Casey eventually opened one of the drawers in his desk and Loki reached in and grabbed the Tesseract. Only to discover that there were multiple Infinity Stones in there, not just the Tesseract.
"Some of the guys use them as paperweights," Casey commented.
Paperweights?! Loki was baffled, but he didn't have time to process this information, because TVA Minutemen, along with the hunter that arrested him, came out of the elevator and charged towards him. Loki used the Time Twister again, only to go back to the Time Theater where he started. He got up and was about to go somewhere else, but then he grew curious about the projector on the table. Slowly, he walked over to the chair in front of the projector and sat down. He didn't know how to control it until he saw what looked like a fast-forward button. His first instinct was to go into the future, but instead, he went back in time.
There was someone he wanted to see first.
He went back to when he was a child, and there she was.
Sylvie.
After Loki had agreed to teach her magic, she had been trying to master a spell that shot little fireworks out of her hand. After a few weeks of practicing, she finally managed to pull it off. She was so excited, she threw her arms around him, and he couldn't help but squeeze back and spin her around.
Loki was never really happy. Not until Sylvie came along. He had felt like something was missing in his life, and that she filled a hole in his heart.
Sylvie was the only one, aside from his mother, who really appreciated him. She loved playing pranks with him or escaping his father's parties with him. They would climb out the window to get outside the palace and they would just talk. It was much better than hiding in the shadows where he wasn't noticed by anyone.
He would often tell her stories about the pranks he played on Thor or the people around the palace, and she would always laugh.
He loved making her laugh.
For years, his life was perfect. Because of her.
Until...
Loki fast forward to see himself, now a few years older than when he first met Sylvie, desperately sprinting across the Bifrost trying to get to Sylvie, who was being held by Asgardian soldiers at the Bifrost's gate. By the time he got there, it was too late.
She was gone.
After begging and screaming at Heimdall to bring her back and getting nowhere, he decided to confront his father.
Loki didn't wait to be announced. He just charged into the throne room demanding answers.
"What is the meaning of this?" Odin asked.
"Where is she?" Loki screamed, ignoring his father. "Where did you send her?!"
"The girl is none of your concern now," Odin said simply.
