Ravonna stepped into the Time Theater where the prisoner was being held. She needed answers, and if this mysterious voice in her head wasn't going to give them to her, then maybe she could get a few from her.

"Leave us." She ordered the Minutemen guarding the door. Once they were gone, she walked over to where the holding cell was hidden and opened its doors.

Hunter B-15 was sitting in the cell, looking as if she expected Ravonna to come and dig through her mind. She had information, Ravonna knew she did. But B-15 probably wasn't going to give it to her.

B-15 was the one to speak first. "Why am I locked in here?" She asked.

"You freed the Variant," Ravonna answered, stating the obvious. "You were disloyal to the TVA."

"Disloyal?" B-15 repeated, disbelieving.

"Did you really think you'd escape punishment for that?"

"Disloyal to who?" B-15 questioned. "You were in the Time-Keepers' chambers. They weren't real."

"And why do you think that changes anything?" Ravonna asked.

"That changes everything!" B-15 exclaimed. "The people need to know the truth!"

"No," Ravonna snapped, "the TVA needs stability. And until we figure out what's going on, that is what it will get. So you need to tell me everything."

Ravonna stepped closer to the cell, an anxious and frantic look in her eyes.

"What exactly do you want from me?" Asked B-15.

"You had a link with the Variant." Said Ravonna. "I want you to tell me what drives her."

"Revenge drives her." Said B-15. "Killing the Time-Keepers. But they turned out to be fake, in case you forgot. So she'll be searching for whoever created them."

B-15 watched Ravonna like she was trying to figure her out. Like she saw right through her.

B-15 scoffed and shook her head. "This isn't about protecting the TVA at all, is it?" She guessed. "You just want to find whoever is behind all this, too."

She had.

"You'll never find them." B-15 chuckled. "Not before she does."

"And why is that?" Ravonna asked.

"You only want it." Said B-15. "She needs it."

As Ravonna walked out of the Time Theater, she summoned Ms. Minutes using her TemPad.

"Ms. Minutes," she said. "I need all the files on the founding of the TVA. Everything from the beginning of time."

"Well, that's a mighty tall order." Said the clock.

"Whoever created this place is in danger," Ravonna told her. "I need to find them."

"Okay." The clock replied. "Right away, ma'am."

With that, Ms. Minutes disappeared.

You're worried about me. Said a voice. I'm touched.

Ravonna froze. It was that voice again.

Her face twisted into a frustrated expression. Who are you? She thought sharply.

The man laughed, sounding amused. You already know that, dear.

No, I don't. She snapped. Who are you?

The man fell silent.

Ravonna wasn't sure how much more of this she could take.

Until he spoke again.
