Sylvie woke up, her head throbbing. She immediately knew where she was.

They had taken them.

The TVA had taken them.

They got her. After all this time spent running from them, they'd captured her.

Now she was being held in a room with a godforsaken collar on her again.

Then she realized something. She was alone.

Where was Loki? Where had they taken Loki?!

Were they hurting him? Was he being tortured? If he had a single injury, she would do more than kill the Time-Keepers. She would burn their precious organization to the ground and make them watch.

But right now, she needed to find a way out of here. She needed to find Loki, make sure he was okay, and then they would finally take down the TVA.

After that, they could be free.

She needed to get out of this room first.

Sylvie looked towards the door. There were probably a few squads of Minutemen guarding her. She was probably going to get pruned the second she got out there. She was also wearing one of their cursed collars.

Sylvie muttered a few curses under her breath. All she could do was wait.

She hated waiting.

Then something caught her eye. A device was in the middle of the table that she was sitting at.

Curiosity took over her mind and she reached out to touch the device. When she did, three words flashed across its screen.

WELCOME, SYLVIE FRODESDOTTIR.

Suddenly the device projected something on a nearby wall. The next thing she knew, she was watching a baby cry. She gasped at what she saw next.

Her father. He was holding her as a baby.

Then it hit her. These were her memories. She could view any memory she wanted.

Hesitantly, she pressed the fast-forward button and watched her life flash before her eyes. Literally.

She saw her favorite moments with her father, Loki, and Frigga. There were even some moments with Thor in there. She was friendly with Thor, but they were never really close.

How happy she and Loki were.

Finally, she stopped at her most painful memory.

She would never forget that day...

She managed to get away from them.

The Asgardian soldiers had taken her away to grieve properly. Why? She was grieving just fine. Loki and Frigga were helping her.

She needed to get back to Loki. By the looks of it, he hadn't known that this was going to happen, either.

The way he ran towards them. He looked so worried. He was probably having a panic attack right now.

Sylvie rounded a corner to go into a dark alleyway. She didn't want people to see or hear what she was about to do next.

"Heimdall." She said. "Heimdall, I know you can see me. Bring me back."

Nothing. Heimdall was ignoring her.

"Heimdall!" She shouted, frustrated now. "Why are you ignoring me? Bring me back. Bring me back, now!"
