Katniss's Pov

I watched Sabrina and Finnick hold each other close.  They seemed so at peace with each other even with everything that is happening around us.  I looked over at Peeta as he slept.  Was it really all a lie anymore.  I love Gale but I also love Peeta.  I looked back at Sabrina and Finnick, I remember during the victor's tour, Peeta held me that close when I had a nightmare.  I envied Sabrina and Finnick, they knew they loved each other, there wasn't any confusion just love between them while me and Peeta or Gale was just all confusion.  I looked over to my side to see thick fog making its way over to me.  I stuck out my hand to see was it was.  The thick fog touched my skin with a pain that felt like my hand had been burnt off.  It's poison.  It's poison!
I screamed in pain and agony.
"It's poison! Get up! It's poison!"
I screamed at everyone, shaking Peeta to wake him.

Sabrina's Pov

I bolted awake at Katniss's scream.  I looked up to see the said poison fog making its way to us.  I shook Finnick repeatedly to get him up.
"It's poison! Finnick get up it's poison!"
I screamed at him.  Finnick jolted awake at my screams.  He instantly stood up, hiding me behind him, protectively from the fog.  We all ran as fast as we could.  No matter how fast we ran the fog started to catch up with us.  Peeta was the first to fall.
"Peeta!"
Katniss screamed, turning back to help him up, Finnick and I too.  We all helped carry Peeta through the woods trying to outrun the poisonous fog.  The next victim of the fog's pain was me.  I tripped over a branch as the fog started to swallow me whole.  The pain so so intense, I felt like my entire body was thrown into thick hot lava, like my skin had been ripped off my bones. I screamed in agony.  I tried to stand up but it was like my bones had been replaced with gel. I heard another person scream, It was Finnick. 
"Finnick!"
I screamed.
I felt a pair of arms pick me up, bridal.  The person ran and ran till we were out of the fog.  I tried to tell who it was.  I squinted my eyes to see.  Finnick.  He looked horrible I felt horrible. I guess his legs gave out cause next thing I know we were tumbling down a hill.  I turned around once we landed at the end of the hill.  I saw the fog still making its way towards us.  I saw it coming closer as I accepted my fate, but instead the fog looked like it was pressed up against a glass right in front of me and faded away.

I felt a tap in my shoulder, I instantly took out one of my knifes and fell it up to the throat of the person who tapped me, seering pain in each of my movements.  It was Katniss.
"Calm down. We found a way to make you pretty again."
Katniss told me, helping me stand and took me to the little creek surrounded by trees.  She helped me into the water.  As the water touched my skin where the boils from the poison were it felt like that same skin pulling pain.  I screamed from pain as Katniss rubbed the boils as poison came out.  Soon the pain became relaxing as we got all the boils off and the poison out of my body.  I felt brand new again.  I went over to where Finnick was lying, his eyes were barely opened.
"Finnick baby, we found a way to be pretty again."
I joked to him as he very slowly brushed his fingers against my cheek.
"Katniss! Peeta! Help."
I yelled to them as they helped me to bring Finnick over to the water.  We very slowly lowered him into the water as the poison came off his body.  He screamed in agony at the feeling, I hated to see him in pain but this was to help him.
"Sh sh sh it's okay, it's working."
I whispered to him, running my fingers through his curls. Once all the poison had came off of him, I let Finnick soak in the water a little bit longer, Peeta went to go get water with the spile, while me and Katniss sat at the edge of the creek letting our legs stay in the water as we sat on the ground.
"Do you have a sister?"
I hear Katniss ask me.
"Yeah, um her name is August. She's all I have left. Besides Finnick."
I told Katniss staring out at the woods.
Finnick swam over to us and put his arms on my knees and rested his head on his arms.
"You volunteered for your sister right?"
I asked Katniss as she nodded her head.
"Prim."
Katniss said. I looked down at Finnick, who had a very serious look on his face.
"Sabrina. Katniss. Come to the middle very slowly."
Finnick ordered looking behind my head. We did as told then turned to see monkeys staring at us as if we were their next meal.
"Peeta. Come over here slowly."
Katniss spoke to Peeta. He slowly looked up to be faced with a very angry monkey.  The monkey screamed and that's when they all started to attack.  Peeta used his sword as Katniss used her arrows, Finnick used his trident, and I used my throwing knives.  For every monkey we killed, another would come charging.  It got to the point we just had to run, Peeta first then Katniss then me then Finnick.  We finally reached the beach, where the monkeys stopped.  Finnick pointed his trident at them menacingly.  Peeta walked over to the water holding one of the morphlings.
"Finnick."
"Yeah?"
"The monkeys got her."
I spoke to him pointing to the morphling.
"Shit."
Finnick spat kicking the sand. Just then a canon boomed, signaling that she was dead.
