"Care to tell me what happened to this?" I asked Kio while pointing at his jaw.

"Oh, this is from a site we checked. I didn't know that there was debris falling and I wasn't wearing a hard hat." sinamaan ko naman siya ng tingin, "Hay nako, Kio." He just pouted a bit kaya wala akong nagawa kung hindi ang halikan siya.

It's been a week since we talked, we got a busy with work kaya ngayon lang kami nagkaroon ng whole day together ulit. I'm back at his house. Walang nagbago actually, my things are still where I left them too.

"Hindi mo ba miss sila Tito?" I asked him habang pinapanood ko siya na maghalo ng chicken noodle soup.

"Hmm, I call them from time to time and Dalton updates me. They're usually with Ginger. So no, not really." Sabay tawa nito, salbahe.

"Do you want to meet my Ate?" I asked him and he immediately smiled, "Really? Are you finally marrying me?" Binato ko naman siya ng kitchen towel. Si marry agad!

"I'm just kidding, baby. Of course I want to meet your family. Should I get a reservation?" ngumiti lang ako at tumango.

Natawa naman ako nang binitawan niya ang niluluto at agad na kinuha ang phone. Ako naman ay tinawagan si Ate.

"Ate, kelan ka free? Papakilala ko na sa'yo prince charming ko." Nailayo ko ang cellphone nang marinig ang matinis niyang tili.

"Omg sa wakas! Bukas agad, hanggang weekend pwede pati si Ivan. Sasabihan ko sila Violet ha?" Um-oo ako at binaba na ang tawag.

"Baby, they're free tomorrow." I told him and he just nodded, "Got it all covered, I'll just send you the exact address later." He said before pulling me and kissing me on my temple.

The next day ay maaga kami na umalis dahil may bibilhin na pampa-impres ang jowa ko. Napangiti ako sa kawalan. Mga kababayan, may label na!

"Kio, you don't have to buy them too much stuff, all right?" He just nodded at tinignan pa ang mga bag sa Chanel, "Should we do this one for your two younger sisters? Just different colors and this for your other sister?" tumango na lang ako dahil magtatanong pa lang siya ay dinadampot na ng sales lady.

"What's for your Ate Rose and Kuya Ivan?" Nag-isip naman ako, "Hmm, I know na. I think I've heard Ate said they both like scented candles." Tumango naman si Kio at nagbayad muna bago ako dalhin sa Jo Malone. Talagang dito pa namili ng scented candles?

"One of everything, can we get that?" parang nagulat pa ang sales lady pero agad din namang tumango.

Nang matapos ay niyaya ko na siya sa restaurant dahil baka kung ano pa ang kunin niya at bilhin.

Sa isang Italian restaurant kami nagpunta, nauna lang kami ng kaunti kila Ate.

"Everyone, this is Kio. My boyfriend. Kio, this is Ate Rose, Violet, Daisy, and Azalea. This is Kuya Ivan, Ate Rose's husband." Nag-shake hands sila ni Kuya Ivan at nag-short hug with my sisters.

"We bought gifts for you." I anticipated my sisters' reaction sa regalo and hindi ako nagkakamali, nanlalaki ang mga mata nitong tinanggap ang gifts maliban kay Ate Rose at Kuya Ivan.

"Thanks bro, we haven't tried the other scents." Pagpapasalamat ni Kuya Ivan, "Hala, thank you po! Pwedeng-pwede na kayo ikasal ni Ate. Walang kokontra." Pagbibiro ni Daisy na ikinatawa namin.

"I hope your sister says yes to that soon." Si Ate Rose naman ay makahulugang ngumiti sa akin.

I didn't expect Kio to warm around my family agad, he's talkative now like he is with me and feeling ko magkakasundo sila ni Kuya Ivan. They're now talking about business, I think Kio is asking for tips.
