No ones POV:

They girls had woken up at the first sign of day-break. Everest sat at the foot of her sisters sleeping bodies, waiting for them to finally be ready to get up and move.

The hunt... as stated by flare last night was something they had been planning for the past few weeks. To stay alive they needed more robotic parts so, during the day they are going to an underground chamber the kraang use for mutagen making, and taking a few 'bots' for new weapons and parts.

Though the girls had lizard DNA, they seemed to still be human, and did not get the regenerating body parts that some species of reptile had. So they had to deal with what was dealt to them.

"Ready." Crystal said by the door, her arms crossed.

"Ready!" May-lee hissed by her cold hearted sister.

Flare let out an approving grunt, and she finished clasping her collar onto her neck.

"Ok...lets do this."

The all jump down the old elevator shaft into the basement area, and go into the sewer from there.

"Remember, it's close to their lair, so be quiet while getting the loot." everest says, as she runs quietly across the sewage pipe.

~~After the hunt~~

Donnie's POV:

My brothers and I haven't been the same since last night... we tried to follow them, but they left no tracks or any signs of movement. Its as if they leaped off the face of the earth.

It's now about 4:56 in the evening, and I still don't know how to start tracking them. I go to take a walk in the sewer pipes.

"Donnie, why didn't you just go and save her... you were the only one with the serious want to come back, but nooooo listen to your older brothers, because they said they'd save them too... NOPE! We left em her to fu- "

Footsteps? How many... one person....claws...mutant... they stopped. They're close...

I turn around and see her, just standing there her eyes wide, but the rest of her face and poster- like before- showed no emotion. Crystal.

We stood from about a 10 ft. distance from each other for a long while. She finally decided to move, but when she started to she fell to her knees, and started to cry.

"Please don't kill me please don't kill me..." I walk up to her shaking body and I kneel down close. I slowly and cautiously hug her, she doesn't move away, but she doesn't accept it.

"Crystal I-"

"Donnie..." She takes my face in her hands and kisses me. "Because I love you still, you need to run..."

"But-"

"NOW!" She shrieks. I jolt away from her and look from behind. I see eyes. purple...red...and grey. Eerily shinning in the darkness of the sewer pipe. Crystal sits clutching herself, sobbing.

"Flare..." I hear a sickening version of Everest's voice.

Then I hear a grunt in response.

"Fetch!" Everest says. I then see charging towards me flare, her spikes erected from her back and her long claws ready to strike.

I quickly make the decision of picking up crystal and running.
She struggles for a bit, but finally passes out from severe dehydration. I turn to see flare is no longer chasing me, except running back towards everest and may-lee.

I take crystal back to the lair... and I am never going to leave her side.
