Jacobs pov

He sat upright.
"Then let go."
Her words echoed around his head.
She sat up beside him.
"Is everything Ok? Have I said or done something wrong?"
He looked at her and cupped her face in his hands.
"No. No you haven't. I can't let go Lexi, I daren't."
She gathered the covers around her.
"Why? Am I so..."
"Baby you are beautiful. You are as sexy as f**k, but if I let go we will have a problem."

He moved his body around to face her.
"If I was to take you now, there would be no way I could let you go. The thought of you going back to Switzerland is already hurting me so if I was to f**k you you'd never make the plane."
"But I'm coming back. For good. I'll be home in a few weeks." She said.
"I wouldn't want you to be away from me." He kissed her head.
"But you've had sex with other girls haven't you? Did you feel the same with them?" Her eyes filled with sadness.
"I'm no saint Lexi. But they meant nothing to me."

He watched as a single tear ran down her face.
"Did you have feelings for them, those girls?"
"What no, no I liked them but nothing more. I love you Lexi. Come on, let's get some sleep. I'll drive you to the airport tomorrow."
Pulling her into his arms they settled down.
God he couldn't believe he turned down the one thing he had dreamt of having. The painful throb between his legs reminded him.
'A few more weeks. You've waited over 6 years' he told himself.

Alexis pov

Waking, Jacob was nowhere to be seen. Her heart dropped. She climbed in the shower and then dressed before finding her travel case to pack.
"I wasn't sure how you took your coffee so I grabbed you a tea."
She heard from behind her.
Turning he stood there with two drinks in a cup tray and a bag.
"I got two breakfast bagels too."
She sent him a smile as he put them on her dresser.
He gathered her in his arms.
"Are you Ok? Yesterday must have been hard for you."
"I'm Ok. Thank you for last night." She kissed his cheek.

He sat on the bed and pulled her onto his lap.
"You understand why I couldn't... Why I didn't..?"
She nodded.
"I want you Lexi so f**king bad but I want it to be special."
"It's Ok, I understand."
They sat and ate their bagels talking about their tattoos.
"What made you go for something so big?" He asked running his fingers over her back while he took a closer look.
"There's no way I want any others and my mum always used to say go big or go home. I went big."
He laughed at her.

He waited with her until she boarded. Sitting in her seat she sent him a quick text.
'It's only ever been you for me.
There's been no one else.
I love you.'
She turned her phone into aeroplane mode and settled down. She needed to settle in the managers of her shop and sort out renting her apartment. Then it was just saying goodbye to her two closest friends before flying back to be close to the guy she loved.
