"(Y/N), YOU CAN'T KEEP RUNNING FROM YOUR PROBLEMS!" Jenner exclaimed as he tried to pull you from the doorframe. Your body was practically parallel to the ground and your fingers were digging into the wood in desperation. The time had come for you to face your fears and finally prove your innocence! It had been nearly a week since the police chase and in that time, you and Jenner had been hard at work to concoct a narrative that proved your innocence whilst also excluding the mention of a certain someone. It was all ready to be presented, tucked away in the case that Jenner had by his side on the floor. The only problem was that you were not ready to present it.

"BUT WHAT IF SHE DECIDES I'M GUILTY??" You cried back. Thank Titan there weren't any other people around, otherwise this would be quite embarrassing.

"Guilty of what?" The words were followed by an obnoxiously long sip from a straw within a nearly empty cup. You looked up and nearly rejoiced.

"LELE! Thank the Titan you're here! Get this maniac away from me!!" You pleaded through gritted teeth. The man raised a brow skeptically. He leaned and looked past you, eyes assumedly landing on your abductor.

"You being manic again, Jenny?" A grin spread across LeLe's face, his straw sitting in the corner of his mouth. A strained scoff sounded from behind you.

"Please! I'm just trying to get this dumbass to their meeting with Cas." The smile on LeLe's face morphed into a grimace with the last of Jenner's words.

"Ooo, sorry boss! This sounds like a you problem." LeLe attempted to squeeze past the two of you, only for one of Jenner's hands to shoot from your ankles and grab him by the wrist.

"Linnaeus Tayleigh Onai-"

"YOU SAID YOU'D NEVER SAY MY MIDDLE NAME OUT LOUD!"

"-TOUGH SHIT, TAYLEIGH! Now if you don't help me pry this kid from this doorframe, I swear on everything I hold dear I WILL SHOW YOU WHAT A MANIAC LOOKS LIKE!" There was a silence between the three of you after Jenner's threat. You were puzzled. What did a manic Jenner even look like? In your mind, you were picturing smoke billowing out of his ears and nostrils, eyes glowing that reddish color that you came to associate with him. Though if anyone knew what Jenner would be like manic, it was probably LeLe. After all, they'd known each other since... well, forever! There was a chuckle that split the quiet.

"Attitude, attitude, attitude. I've always loved that about you." A second pair of hands wrapped around your ankles and your heart sank. CAN'T YOU CHOOSE A DIFFERENT TIME TO TRY AND REKINDLE YOUR LOST ROMANCE?? GET THE FUCK AWAY!!! Despite how hard you tried to will them into existence, your thoughts were futile. It only took three tugs with the combined strength of the the lads to finally pull you from the frame. You tried to grab onto anything you could, but alas, there was nothing nailed to the floor. You were on your way to the Coffin. All the while, LeLe was trying to chat up your brother.

Sublime.

"So when are you gonna pay me back for waking me up on my night off?" LeLe questioned the man beside him. You rolled your eyes.

"Why would I do that? You volunteered, didn't you?" Jenner had a rather unconventional method of getting volunteers, leading you to be skeptical of his words.

"You dragged me out of bed at who knows what hour and went; 'Linnaeus, wake your ass up, we got shit to do!'"

"Yes, but after that you got up on your own terms."

"Because you told me your period was late and in my half-awake buffoonery, I believed you!"

"Not my fault you didn't know I don't have periods anymore."

"Literally, how the fuck would I know that?"

"Can y'all drag me to my demise QUIETLY and WITHOUT this tension y'all got between you?" You crossed your arms and huffed. "Or better yet, find a closet somewhere and settle this alone?"
