Episode II

Attack of the Clones

There is unrest in the Galactic Senate. Several thousand solar systems have declared their intentions to leave the Republic.

This separatist movement under the leadership of the mysterious Count Dooku, has made it difficult for the limited number of Jedi Knights to maintain peace and order in the galaxy.

"It's a high honour to be invited to one of these meetings." Master Windu explained to me from my doorway. I nodded my head, letting a small sigh pass through my lips as I placed my hands on my dresser.

"I am honoured to be brought in, Master, don't get me wrong." I told him, glancing in his direction. "I just wish it wasn't with the Chancellor." I shook my head once more, shifting so I was standing up straight once more.

"I know how you feel but you must remember the Jedi report to him and the Senate." My former Master attempted to ease my mind. Ever since my trials three years ago, I became wary of the Chancellor and every step he took. Seeing his face flash in my mind whilst staring down a Sith rattled me more than anything else has.

"I am aware of that." I replied, lifting both my sabers from the wooden top of my dresser and clipping one to each hip. "Okay, I'm ready." I nodded my head, turning to Master Windu.

He led me down the hall toward the exit of the Jedi Temple. I sat down in the waiting transport silently. The bustling city of Coruscant zipped past, or more accurately we zipped past it. I loved and hated Coruscant, when you want to get somewhere fast it is always almost impossible but then again the busy traffic made me feel less significant. I liked the idea that I am but one person, that business temporarily removes the thought that the entire galaxy depends on me, on the Jedi.
