(22 BBY)"This strike force has been commissioned by the Senate to hunt down the enemy's new battleship." Admiral Yularen spoke to the group of clone troopers sitting in front of him who were listening intently. Anakin was standing at his side, much to my surprise that he wasn't the one explaining everything. R2 showing the group a Holo of the ship that had destroyed Master Plo and I's combined fleet.
I sighed as we neared, shifting my shoulder. My muscles were definitely loosening, however every now and then it felt like I was still half frozen. But I had done enough waiting around and practically jumped at the opportunity to leave the cruiser when Master Plo had explained what Anakin was planning.
"As the bulk of our fleets are engaged on the front lines, we'll be on our own." Admiral Yularen went on as we came to a stop. I pressed my lips together, listening, although Master Plo had briefed me on the concept, Ahsoka joyfully relayed it to me as well. "General Skywalker has prepared our attack strategy."
"Thank you, admiral." Anakin finally spoke up, nodding his head at the man. "While our capital ships are vulnerable to the enemy's attack, I believe a squad of bombers can outmanoeuvre their ion weapon." Anakin explained, motioning his hand up at the ship R2 was displaying for context. I found myself nodding my head, weighing up his plan. We'd need incredible pilots to pull it off. "Our target will be the bridge, and General Grievous."
I sighed, crossing my arms over my chest. The men in front of him began to murmur out things I couldn't hear properly, all of their voices blending together. So, whether they were excited about the idea or nervous was up for debate.
"Our bombers will attack at high speed to evade the enemy's ion weapon." Anakin continued on with his plan. The Holo changed to show a formation of the Y-wing bombers he was wanting to use to make the run at the Malevolence. "We'll concentrate our firepower on the bridge superstructure, here" The Y-wing bombers passed over the bridge extending up from the main body of the ship, deploying little dots that stood for the bombs. They all collided with the bridge, large circles exploding. "We destroy General Grievous, and the ship will fall with him." He commentated as the Holo ship began to sprout further explosions all along the hull. "Any questions?"
