Chapter 7: The First Kiss continues..?

POV: Third Person

Unlike under the tree, first ever Kiss continues..

When they both opened their eyes looked into each other still their lips locked just as their eyes, both their eyes widen and queen turn around as king hwi letting her hand go from her queens chin to back up a little bit. They both stay confused and queen held her hands close to her chest as it flutters rapidly and king hwi was as stunned as to why she did, what she did. she's too froze to go near the queen to comfort her but noticed how visibly discomfort queen was.

"my queen.." King hwi tries to get closer to her as she gathers her thoughts but our queen just got up and ran from the study as quickly as she can feel her legs. king hwi is upset, "how could I do that, what was i thinking, why did i do that.." she's more distressed at that moment than anything in her life.. "I want to go after my queen, I want to check in with her, I want to say I didn't mean to do it, I dont know why I did, or I did mean it..? no, I want to apologize.. why did I even do that" she's stressed but got summoned by visitors and then a letter from her secret army. "maybe i'll give her space, maybe i'll talk to her tonight.. but how can i go to her chambers, after what i did, i can't look her in the eye and justify my presence near her" she's so hard on herself but being a king she at least had a space to be distracted. What else can she do, she can't talk to her cousin about her love problems, who has always been by her side and supported her. 

Queens Chamber:

On the other hand, our beloved queen is in shambles... "what did just happen?.. Did I dream this... I wanted to kiss her many times but after I knew her secret... i wouldn't dare to even dream .. but now.. it's a reality... i uh i-is it a reality? did she kiss me?" she's still on floor caressing her lips gently after entering into her chambers, she's too weak to walk towards her mat. "our lips touched, she kissed me holding my chin close to her..! D-Did I held her face too? did i kiss her back?" she tries to recall but she was too dazed to even remember what has happened. It's her kings soft lips pressed hard and gentle on hers is the only feelings filled in her head at the moment, every single second of it.

"why did I run away... why didn't I stay.. did I pull away? or worse, did she thinks I rejected her" her head is in complete chaos. she heads to the study right away to tell her beloved king that she was just flustered and she didn't reject her or whatever excuse she had to say to convince her dear king again, she knows her king is more stressed than her about this, but unfortunately she met with servants informing king hwi has left to court for important meeting. "I shouldn't have opened my eyes sooner, I should've kissed her longer, wait.. did i kiss her back.. huh, why can't I remember anything except her pressure on my lips, I shouldn't have ran away.." queen walked back to the chamber in disbelief of her own action stomping her feet.

Late at night: Kings Chamber 

Queen Ha kyung waiting patiently for her king to visit her chambers but its past their dinner and no sign of king showing up to her chambers. It's not like yesterday, she knew she had pushed her king away, if the king is not going to visit her chambers then it's her turn to rectify her fault. She heads to kings chambers, she stays outside but no one announced her entry, she stood there looking at the servants and the head lady walks close to her, it's kings order for you to come and go as you please without announcement, you don't need permission to enter kings chamber whenever you visit my queen, the servant explains and goes back. She enters the kings chamber and there her beloved king, sitting and reading books as handsome as alway.

"Don't do this next time" the queen approach king hwi as she speaks in cold tone. Our compunctious king just froze with those words "my queen.." then stops to collect herself "I'm sorry... I will not do it again.." moves close to her then stops, looks down in shame and guilt brewing inside her. Queen Ha Kyung turns towards the king as she stopped and the 1st thing she notices is her lips.. soft, gentle lips that invaded her privacy not long ago. she quickly regains her conscious to not think about the kiss. "every time you have something on your mind you ignore me, don't do that again" she's being bold and stubborn this time as if she gained new strength and she's asking, no, demanding for what she deserves. 

"My queen.." King Hwi is stunned and proud to see her queen be open and straightforward with her. "I did not plan to ignore you, I had to attend to an import.." she was intervened by her queen "I'm not talking about noon.." she looks flustered thinking about what had happened at noon (which they should because, King Hwi KISSED HER, Talk about it soon.. Plz..) "I'm talking about you not visiting my camber tonight" our queen seems to be too straight forward today, it's refreshing but scary at the same time!

Our king seems to be confused now "My queen.. how can i show up to your chambers after what i did to you" she looks down feeling guilty and disbelief why she did something to break a beautiful bond she created with her queen. "When I looked at you, all I could think of is to not hurt you anymore and love you but that's exactly what i did.. hurting you" you can hear the trembling voice of our king,  Queen moves over and lifts her chin just like her king has lifted hers before "Jeon-ha.." something she can't help but address her as whenever she felt closer to the king and saw tears flowing down her beloved kings cheeks. This is enough reason for her to feel bad but the king continues "you just walked away and left, I didn't know what to think of it, I know what i did was wrong.. I shouldn't have.." The queen interrupted her king again but this time with a kiss... on her lips.., with more passion and care. This is the only way she wanted to console her king and she wanted this for a long time.. Waiting to meet her from noon till now seemed like a century have passed. but the kiss, let's get back to the kiss.. Oh they're still kissing, it's gentle and soft with love and comfort and they're still going. this time i don't think either of them wants to open their eyes or move away 1st as both of them are in-tune with the kiss, orchestrating a perfect balance of giving and receiving.

I'm planning to post few more and complete the story.  If I receive a feedback then I make it spicy but i'll keep overall story wholesome at the end. I'm happy to see new readers and hope this reaches all my early readers as well. I feel more guilty than King Hwi tbh for unintentionally abandoning it for long! :\
