Early mornings are my favourite. They make my day brighter. The sun beams hitting my face and oh the vitamin D dose is not as fulfilling as the smile that lights up on my face.
I wake up with a skip in my step and sleep with murder on my mind.
The bell rings and I open the door to find the reason why I have murder on my mind. Let's just say this kind of surprise is once in a life time. The man stares at me in his normal clothes with a bright smile. His face lit up in every right way. Every part of his face is perfectly made like god really took his time on him and it's not really hidden behind the mask when he is fighting.
It makes him quiet popular with the girls. The misunderstood villain. He is charming like the playboy kind of charming. (A/N) Maybe that's why she hates his guts so much. She does everything to stop him from causing mayhem and chaos and the young girls are simping over him? Some are feeling pity for his possible past and some want to be captured by him.
One time, a girl just like that got taken as hostage. She was not ready to leave him. In the end, he got a bit scared with her obsessive craze and let her go. But it was enough to let him finish what he started. He had destroyed the minister's house and killed his PA.
An act of rebel? Is this how you can justify murder?
"What are you doing here Elinar?" I drawl, a bit too annoyed at his appearance. It seemed like he is drunk on happiness cause that smile on his face doesn't falter a bit.
"So my name is Elinar?" He says upbeat, not missing the annoyance on my face.
"No, it's idiot. What do you want so early?" I ask, a bit too sarcastic. So out of character but some of his personality had rubbed off on me after all these years.
"I don't know?" I think my face showed what I wanted to say but just because he is a bit slow, I ask him.
"Are you asking me or telling me? Elinar please, I need to work." I groan, looking behind in the messed up living room. I need clean up the mess from yesterday's party too.
"I really don't know. I forgot everything like total memory loss. The only thing I remember is someone named Morana was close to me? You are Morana, aren't you?" He explains and it feels too genuine but somewhere I felt that he is lying. There is no way it's real.
"Close to you? Really?" I smirk, leaning on the door frame. The amusement clear in my voice.
"Aren't you?" He asked innocently and for a moment I almost buy it.
"Look Elinar, I'm not in the mood for jokes. You are not Percy and I am not Annabeth." He looks so confused, I almost laughed. Maybe he hasn't read the epic books. Some people just miss out so much in life willingly.
"I'm not Percy? What do you mean?" I wave my hands and shoo him a bit. "It doesn't matter, I'm busy now."
He pouts like fricking pouts like a child with all the batting his eyelashes. I think he might have finally slipped. He had always been treading on that line carelessly.
"I have no where to go, I don't know who I am or where I lived so can you please take me in. I just know I can trust you." He pleads and I think the goodness in me takes over because I end up nodding. He grins and jumps in the house. As soon as he looks in, a scream followed.
I startle and watch what scared him but there is nothing in the house. He looks around with wide eyes and turns to me. "This is how you live?" He points at the mess. It's not that bad...
"Umm yes?" He sighs and shakes his head before picking up some clothes on the couch. Without a word, he begins to pick up everything and place it carefully in a cupboard or drawer.
