"You call that cool? I mean yeah its nice to be in a car at full speed at night but do you know what is real fun?" The old man speaks in a low voice as if telling a huge secret. The boy leans in, completely immersed into his favourite grandpa's talks.

When his mom and dad are always away, he learned to explore the way the world on his own. Now a 13 year old boy, with some money and no whatsoever restriction is bound to fall into the trap of drugs and alcohol. Luckily this 13 year old boy's grandpa gets a whiff oh what's going on in his grandson's life and he comes to the save.

The 13 year old listens to what his grand father suggests and explains and immediately cuts of his relations with those 16 year old new friends he had made. Next, he went in search for new friends but before that, he has a few ideas to carry out.

A week later, he sneaks out of the house, unaware that his parents know but don't care. He goes to the bus that takes him the nearest bank where people who don't know him live. No, he won't rob a bank, too young for something like that isn't he?

He enters marching in with his 5'8 height and walks up to the counter. The person sitting behind the counter looks up at the young face. The employee gives a bored grunt, waiting for another bad morning when the boy asks a relatively normal question.

"What is the date today?" The employee looks at the calendar lazily. In a drowsy, bored out of his mind tone, he answers, "25th."

The boy nods with a serious look, as if thinking something deeply that is extremely important. "And what may be the year?" He asks after a few nods.

The employee looks at the young boy with confusion and a bit of intrigue at how this boy looked way too serious for a teen. "2023." At the mention of the year, the boy's face lit up and a huge grin replaces the serious look he had moments ago.

"Holy shit it worked!" The employee silently laughs at the boys antics, grateful to have his day started on such a humorous note. As the boy began to jog out the bank, another voice speaks out.

"Your machine worked too?" The boy nods vigorously and high fived the other random kid in the unsuspecting bank. As he walked out, he saw the employee look at them in wonder, switching his gaze between the 2 boys who were perfect strangers and the boy thought to himself, 'grandpa you are right, this is so much better.'

A month later, the boy has to shift to the town he had gone to to play the pranks in. His parents were trying to punish him for the prank he had planned on his uptight neighbor. She was like the headmaster in Matilda's story. He hated her so he played a harmless prank that she escalates into a big deal.

This time the boy had to learn to own up to his mistakes but what the unsuspecting teen didn't know was that the town loved him. They all would talk about his crazy stories and laugh while waiting for the next time he came because the young boy never hurt anyone. It was all harmless fun that would light up someone's day. So when the landlord realized, the young troublemaker had taken his apartment to live in, he lowers the price and tells everyone in town about his arrival.

The boy enrolls into the school nervously and enters the new environment with some determination. To make new friends. Now that he had began to implement his grand father's rules, he had to move onto the next steps. Finding dorky new friends that would do these stunts and pranks with him.

He enters the school, looking around the hallways and children that whispered among themselves about him and maybe not. There was no way he would find a familiar face so he walks up to the office to reach his class when a boy his age walks up to him. Those glasses were something he had seen before.

"Hi." The boy with glasses extends his hands. "Time machine?" The boy lights up at the memory of his first pursuit to fun.

"Hello, fellow traveler." He shakes his hand vigorously. The boy with glasses smiles at the fact that he found a geek like him.
