"Hello?"

 Ashley responds from the other side of the line with her natural monotone aura leaking through. It was nearly impossible to contain the delight you felt at the moment.

 "Ley! Its me, Y/n!! I finally got through to you! Are you guys okay?"

Even though you aren't face to face, it was evident that her mood had drastically shifted to astonishment.

"Y/n! I can't believe it, how have you been?! Ugh no! More like where have you been? You stopped calling all of a sudden...what gives?!" You can sense a bit of sadness in her behaviour. She was beyond happy to finally hear a familiar friend on the other line of the phone, but after all this time, she somewhat lost faith in all her other friends that haven't even bothered calling or checking up on her and her brother ever since they were quarantined...she had the idea that you were no different.
Ashley was beyond devastated by your absence, aside from Andrew she had no one else to talk to. She fell deeper in solitude, so hearing your sedative and loving voice once more was enough to rid all of those negative emotions that had been balling up inside her head.

"I've tried contacting you guys for the last couple of months but haven't had any luck. You're mom answered me but kept making excuses and wouldn't let me talk to you, so I'm not entirely sure what was that about." You quickly explained.

"That old hag..." You hear her mutter under her voice, before you or Ley can say anything else, you hear a male voice appear on the other side with her.

"Who are you talking to?" You'd recognised that voice anywhere. It was non other than her older brother, Andrew.

"It's Y/n! See? I told you that she didn't go off and forget about us!" You hear Ley say with a playful tone in her voice. What followed after sounded like a struggle between the two siblings.

"Wha- Hey!! I'm not done talking to them! Back off you ass!" 
"Y/n?!"
It appears that Andy had snatched the phone away from his little sister since you can hear him even more clearly now.

"Andy! Finally...are you guys okay? I heard about the whole parasite incident! How are you holding up?"
 You asked, feeling even more relieved hearing his soothing voice after what felt like forever.

"Y/n..I can't believe it, it really is you.." He was in disbelief. Truth be told he was incredibly heart broken when your calls stopped coming in without any explanation. He thought that maybe you had grown bored of him and lost interest in calling or heard about the news and abandoned him like everyone else had.
He doesn't need an explanation from you, the fact that you called and that you seemed concerned about their well being was enough to prove to him that you are probably the only person apart from Ashley who really cares for him. It made his heart skip a beat.

"I'm a lot better now after hearing your voice." He thought to himself. Out loud apparently since you found yourself getting flustered at his comment.
You hear a struggle again going on as Ashley stole the phone back.
"I said back off you hopeless romantic! I answered first! They're mine!"
After hearing that, you found yourself being an flustered hot mess.

The struggle kept going on as the two siblings fought over the phone, completely ignoring you for a while. You facepalmed at their little battle but also caught yourself smiling over it. They haven't changed at all, and it sounds like they are doing okay in spite of the entire situation.

"You two dorks! Just place the phone in between your heads!" You yelled at them. After that it seems that they listened to you since the weren't fighting anymore.

"How have you been lately? You completely disappeared without a trace." Andy asked you. The three of you spoke on the phone and gone through everything that has happened.
Their parents basically walked out on them, claiming that they were clean from any parasite and moved to another part in town according to Andy. 
But to hell with them, they don't matter. What really got you worrying was the fact that apparently the wardens of the place don't let them out of their apartment, and they weren't getting any food delivered...they were practically starving at this point. 

Ley said that she's been feeling very tired lately and can't push herself to do anything that may exhaust her because she will constantly pass out.
The more those two spoke of the situation, the more uneasy you felt. You knew that you had to do something to help get them out of there, your odd dreams led you back to them. To save them from their hellhole.

"When was the last time you guys had a proper meal?..." You asked concerned. "Days, weeks...I don't know. I lost count at this point." Ley admitted. You finally decided what you were going to for now until you figure out a plan to get them out of there. 

"Alright, just hang in there. I'll run to the grocery store and buy you guys anything you need! And i'll head on over right away!"

"Wait, you're back in town? I thought you were still over at your dorm?" Andy asked you concerned. "Yeah, I kinda dropped out for the time being. But we can talk about that later! Right now, I need to get you guys some food!"
 You weren't going to tell them that you practically dropped out because of them...It will just be weird and an awkward situation you'd rather avoid...

"Y/n, the wardens won't even let you in. How the hell are you planning on doing that?" Ley asked, also sounding concerned.

"Just leave that to me to worry about, Ley. All I need is for the both of you to wait for me!" You exclaimed to ease them. To be completely honest. You have no idea what the fuck to do about it. But whatever, sounds like its time to improvise. Worse case scenario, you'll get beaten to a bloody pulp.

"You dumbass, what if you get caught and get stuck with us?" Andy yelled at you, he did have a point...but that doesn't sound half bad. Just the three of you? Sounds like fun!
"Like I said, don't worry about me. Just make sure to take care of your sister and I'll be there shortly. One way or another!...I'm not abandoning you guys. Not now. Not ever."

There was dead silence on the other end. Even though you couldn't see them. Ashley and Andrew looked at each other, dread consuming their faces. They would never forgive their selves if anything bad happened to you, and deep down, hidden from one another, they are yearning for you to come to them.
Ashley wants you by her side. Andrew wants you by his side. They won't admit it to each other, yet its obvious for one another that they're into you. Ashley loves Andrew, but she wants you for herself. And Andrew loves Ashley, he always gives her everything she wants, but he is not willing to simply hand you over as well.
After the long silence, you decided to speak up. 

"Listen, I'll be there in half an hour. You said that there are only two wardens right? If you think you can distract them in anyway do so. It will give me the chance to slip inside and once the coast is clear I'll head on over to your door. Got it?"

The two of them again looked at each other and gave a sigh. They know you're a persistence bitch, and once your mind is made up, you don't go back on your word.
The both muttered an okay, not happy about the fact that your risking your life for them, but also feel flustered that you are.

You smiled in victory and raised back up to your feet. "That settles it. Bare with me, I'll see you two soon okay? Just hang on a bit longer."

And with that you exchanged your goodbyes with the siblings and reluctantly hanged up the phone. You didn't waste anytime rummaging around your house to find a backpack and stole some saved up money your father always had hidden away in the closet and ran out the door.

 "You look pretty happy." Andy smirked and looked over his sister's way. Its been a while since he last saw a smile on her face.

"Hah. Very much indeed, brother dearest! I could say the same for you." Ley expressed and she happily grabbed the mop from the closet. She figured that since you are on the way, she should tidy up the place. 
 Andy did the same, heading to the kitchen as he decided to clean up as well.

"And here you thought they had forgot about us! Such a low blow from you!" Ley teased, covering the fact that she had thought the same thing, but she doesn't want her brother to know that she isn't innocent on the fact either.

"Tsk, whatever. As if you weren't the same way. You would even sulk in bed all day because they stopped calling." Andy countered attacked, earning an adorable pout from her.
They didn't want to admit it to themselves, but they were happy. They were genuinely happy for once ever since they got locked up in this dump. They were excited to see you, even if it was only for a moment, just so you could get food to them. But they've never been this eager to look forward to a knock on their door.
