Although stunned by your unfazed demeanor, Andrew and Ashley chose not to pay much mind to your actions since they did take care of any evidence that could've potentially convict all of you to prison. Instead, you can finally walk freely without having to look behind your back 24/7 or constantly biting your nails due to the anxiety of the entire situation.
You had gone back to falling asleep on the bed, Ashley joining you while Andrew kept watching TV until he fell asleep on the couch.
You were having a peaceful slumber until it was abruptly interrupted once more by Ashley, frantically shaking you awake in a panic.
You groaned as you fluttered your eyelids open "Hmm..Ashley, what's up?" You asked her groggily, still having a hard time keeping your eyes open as they demanded slumber."Y/n! Get up, we have to leave right now!" She exclaimed as she shot herself out of bed to wake up her brother.
Judging by the fear in her voice and frightened behaviour, you didn't think twice as you got up and immediately raced over to put on your shoes and grab your things.
"Mind filling me in on what's going on?" You asked her, practically wide awake at this point as protective mode kicked in almost on instinct.
"I had a vision!! We're about to get killed! We've got to go NOW!"
After she said that, both Andrew and you gave a worried glance at each other and didn't waste any time in following Ashley out the door.
The three of you jogged your way to the center of the area where the many shops and restaurants were and decided to hide there, just far enough to be out of sight, but close enough to see the killer arrive from any direction."So...do you guys want to stay here and wait to see if the killer actually shows up?...And what did I do to deserve getting murdered in my sleep anyway?!"
Ashley asked, thankfully seeming much more calm comparing to how she was when you were still in the motel room.
"...It might be a bit risky staying here. You don't know which direction they're coming from right? Assuming anyone shows up anyway." Andrew asked, keeping his eyes on the motel for anyone suspicious.
"Whatever the case, please tell me you brought the gun with you?" You asked Ashley as she took it out and hand it over to you.
You've never really had a reason to use one before, but it can't be that complicated right? Just point and shoot. It should be easy-peasy.
The three of you decided to wait....and wait...and kept waiting....
It was a breezy night, Andrew and you were currently sharing the flame from the lighter to ignite your fourth cigarette together to pass the time and mostly to enjoy the bitter taste and scent of burnt tobacco. Much to Ashley's disappointment."Ugh, another one?! Way to blow our money you two!" she exclaimed, frustrated with the two of you, she was never fond on the fact that you both have a smoking addiction.
"Blow it out your ass. We're bored and cold." Andrew said as he stepped away from you and the flame to blow out the cancerous smoke into the bleak air."Well you guys are probably cold because that crap messes with your blood circulation!"
"Okay, mom."
"Makes you impotent too by the way~ That means more Y/n for me~" Ashley began teasing as Andrew shot her a death glare, while you...as always, you felt the heat rising to your cheeks. This past week has been rather interesting. Now that this whole, whatever-ship isn't hidden from one or the other, the two of them constantly bicker at each other when it comes to you.
You can't say you don't enjoy the attention~
"Argh! I said enough!" Ashley exclaimed once more as she snatched the cigarettes from both you and Andrew.
"Hey! Last one I promise!! Give it back!" You whined as you tried to take it back from her, starting up a little child's fight and both girls were flailing.
"Quiet you two! Aren't we hiding!?" Andrew whispered yelled as he tried to break it up, and by doing so, he managed to hear faint footsteps coming your way from the distance, making the three of you go silent.
Andrew instantly took a hold of both you and Ashley and brought you close to his chest, covering your mouths with his hands to keep you girls quiet as the mysterious figure approached.
You quietly took out the gun, enough to still keep it hidden, but just perfect to be able to swing it out fast in case the worse scenario were to happen. Finally, after what felt like the most excruciating and intense minute of your life, the hooded figured walked passed the three of you heading down an alleyway between the nearby buildings. He did indeed noticed you all, and to avoid any suspicion, you all acted like you were rebel teens just minding your business and hanging out in the middle of the night
Luckily for you, it wasn't the guy who you're expecting to come slit your throat. Though he did look oddly familiar. The hooded man gave you all the side-eye but continued his way without muttering a word. He was dressed almost exactly like you neighbour cultist now that you got a good look at him, that was the reason he seemed familiar.
A sigh of relief escaped your mouths as you finally felt less tense after the man was out of you sights.
"Didn't we eat that guy?" Ashley said out loud ever so casually, she practically read your mind.
"Don't say that out loud!" Andrew scolded her, it was dead silence in the night time, and having her confess to your crimes out of the blue like that was risky, anyone could be hearing your conversation right now, and you all wouldn't even noticed them.
"Oh, sorry. Didn't we chop that guy up and store him in our freezer?" Ashley rephrased her question, not making it any better than the one before..."Ashley! Come on!" Andrew yelled at her again, you followed him by pinching her hip, earning a pained yelp from the gothic girl before you.
"You could be a little more discreet about it, dude..." You quietly scolded her as well, but Ashley was in a rather giddy mood since she enjoyed being punished, it was adorable to her!"Hehee!! That tickled! No, but seriously. I guess there's more from where he came from." She noted, surprisingly catching your interest as you turned your head towards the direction that he went.
"Where do you supposed he went off to?" You asked, wanting to head over there to do a bit of spying to pass the time.
"Why, a sex and drugs party with demons, duh! Why do you ask me?"
"Whatever, should we follow him?" Andrew suddenly offered, you really wanted to go. Anything was better than staying out here in the cold with your only source of warmth confiscated by Ashley.
"Wait, but I want to see if my vision comes true or not..."
"It's not like we all have to be here..."
"Hmmm, Y/n! Go with Andrew, and just make sure he doesn't get into trouble..." Ashley said, facing you. You saw the unease in her eyes. It was evident that she really doesn't want to be outside here alone, but she would feel better knowing that you keep her brother out of trouble.
"No way, Y/n you stay here with Ashley. I don't want to leave her alone."
The two siblings started arguing about who you should go with, surprisingly thinking about the other's well being for once rather than their own selfish desires.
You felt indecisive as you let yourself think about it. You really didn't want to leave Ashley on her own out here, but you also curious about what the cultist look-alike is up too.
What should you do?
