The flames began licking the walls and sweeping across the ceiling. You merely stood there watching all the evidence being burnt to a crisp until it ceased to exist.
You walked out of the burning building,  avoiding the crowds of frightened people gathering around the scene, with awe and shock evident in their expressions at the tragedy being bestowed before them.

..................................................

"Damn it, Y/n! Don't wander off on your own like that again, you had us worried shitless!"

Ashley has been scolding you since you returned from your little mission back at the apartment complex. You left suddenly before dinner last night and didn't return until this afternoon, you had business to attend to, for their sakes. But you weren't going to tell them the atrocity you committed, not yet at the very least. Right now you just wanted rest.

You were currently finishing up the rest of your lunch along with the Graves siblings. However, oddly enough you noticed that your hunger didn't seem fully satisfied. You feel stuffed,  to the point that you are very aware that you can't fit any more nutrients into your system.

Yet you still have this strange ache in your stomach, something you are craving for. But so far, nothing has been doing the trick to ease the urge.

Ignoring your discomfort, you lifted your gaze to Andrew, who was in the middle of reading the newspaper.
It's been a week since the escape, and he's been nothing but paranoid since the three of you left that apartment. He constantly looks over his shoulder, and rarely ever leaves you or Ashley on your own. He became completely obsessed with watching and reading the news, just waiting to hear anything about the murders you as a trio committed.

The consequences of your actions have yet to catch up with you. Which was nice. You wanted to keep this peace, that's why you went your way to risk getting caught with the sole purpose of destroying everything. It was necessary in order to keep these two safe and more importantly, by your side.

"There's nothing interesting in the paper, right?" Ashley finally decided to start up a conversation as she was beginning to feel a bit uneasy with the silence.

"I'm not done reading it." Andrew answered her ever so bluntly as his main focus was on the material before him.

"It's been a week already, Andrew. The odds that something will come out in the news are pretty low. So how about you give your eyes a break?"
You spoke up, not feeling a bit of fear anymore since it has been taken care of. You want Andrew to be at ease as well but you weren't sure on how they would react to what you have done. You caught his attention as he let out a long sigh. He folds the newspaper neatly and sets it aside.

After that, Andrew and Ashley began discussing on what the three of you were going to do once you ran out of cash. You had shared the remainder of your funds with them and now running extremely low.
You haven't heard anything from your parents in quite the while, you couldn't help but wonder if they've tried looking for you or doing something along the lines of reporting you missing. You could always give a call to your parents to help out....But then again, you aren't exactly normal anymore.
You have broken into a quarantine area, and participated in cannibalism and murder, and committed  massive genocide in an apartment complex. You're practically a fugitive at this rate, the news about it just hasn't come out yet.

And it never will, you'll make sure of that.

But that's not the only thing keeping your mind busy, you also began to noticed concerning changes to your body. Back when that weird red mist entered your system, you felt like a brand new person. Reborn even.
You felt amazing, full of energy and pretty much felt stronger than you have ever felt before. But then the erratic hunger suddenly presented itself as you made your way back to the siblings after burning the whole apartment to the ground, and no matter what you eat, you feel not even an ounce of satisfaction.

And that isn't the only issue, you've noticed that you felt relatively weaker since you've gotten back. You're more pale than usual and have dark circles under your eyes to which you're almost 100% sure that it is not due to lack of rest.

To put it bluntly, you felt like shit.

Your brain kept racking up on what could be the problem to this sudden weak state you felt, you wanted to convince yourself that it was due to tiring yourself out when you walked up and down the apartment, setting every thing in a blaze. But deep down, you just knew that that wasn't it. You always found yourself circling back to what the demon said when he dispersed that red mist at you.

'When full, the power within will grow and aid you during your most weakened states.'

Okay..? But what the fuck did he mean by full? Full of what? Full of shit that's what, haha!!

"Ahh!!" Your thoughts were abruptly interrupted by Ashley, appearing to be flailing over something as you shifted your attention towards her.

"I think I left the gun back at the motel!"  She exclaimed in a panic.

"...I really wish you'd be less nonchalant about everything all the time." Andrew gripped the bridge of his nose in annoyance, not surprised on how careless his sister could be at times.

"Well we've finished our meals already. Let's go back to the motel before somebody breaks in and steals the damn thing."

You said as the three of you got up and started making your way back to the crappy motel you were staying for the time being.
There were far better places to stay in, but this was the only one where they didn't ask for an ID. You all needed to stay incognito until you are sure that you guys won't be pulled back as suspects in the murders.

But leave it to Andrew, getting a room with only one queen size mattress. Before getting here, both siblings would go all out on deciding who got to sleep next to you. Andrew saying that he needed you to keep his nightmares at bay, while Ashley argued that she has girl privilege and that the girls needed to stick together.

But in the end, those pointless arguments were settled by the three of you sharing the bed. And of course. You in the middle.
You said it before but you'll say it again. As much as you love these two dorks, you need your space too!!

Andrew unlocked the door to the motel room and opened it for the three of you to walk inside. You felt exhausted and didn't waste anytime to let your aching body plummet onto the mattress while Andrew sat on the couch to watch the news and Ashley started picking up the discarded clothes to do the laundry...

Why were there discarded clothes and undergarments out and about? That's a story for another day~

It didn't take long for you to black-out as you melted into a deep slumber

....................................................................................

You opened your eyes only to be met with a dark crimson atmosphere, and the same shithole building you and the Graves siblings escaped from.
You felt perplexed, you had just left this place...or rather you made sure that it no longer existed, so why was it in front of you again?

Was this a dream?

You decided to walk forward, entering the damned place once more. It was completely different, there was already debris laying out and about, dark vines and plants covering the floor and walls leaving an uneasy aura to the entire place.
This must be a dream, there is not other explanation for it to be this way otherwise.

While you aimlessly walked around the never ending apartment for what felt like  eternities, you finally reached a room which closely resembled the same apartment you had been trapped in.
And inside, was the ominous entity you can Ashley had summoned. It seemed to be waiting for you.

"SpLIt SoUL, yOU'vE COmE." It spoke up suddenly, spooking you to the core.

"It's you. The entity we summoned. What are you doing here? Or rather, where am I?" You asked as you stared deep into its three red eyes, it was really the only thing you can say to describe it. Other that those eyes, he's just an black floating blob...

"iN a DrEAm. I CAlLeD YoU hERe."

"Oh? Well, what's up? You're not going to steal my soul now, are you?"

You asked nonchalantly as you surprisingly didn't feel a tad fazed by the situation. It doesn't even occur to you that you should be afraid of this soul stealing creature.

"I hAvE SummONeD YoU to GuIDe yoU On YouR PaTH...YoU'Ve ApPEar tO bE WeAKEn..."

"Well geez...I know that I don't look too hot right now, but there was no need to call me out on it!"

"yOu'vE UsED My gIFt...ReGENerATIon. HAs iT bEen uSEfuL?"

You merely nodded in response, so that's the gift he gave you, Ashley was right. You were able to make your way back in town and burn a building by yourself without feeling an ounce of exhaustion and the few bruises you had all around you had healed up in seconds. To put it bluntly, you felt unstoppable...but right now, you feel like absolute road-kill.

"yOU've MuST RePleNIsh tHE eNergY IN yOUR ESSenCe. tO bE FuLL, yOU mUsT fEAst..." as if reading your mind, which it probably is, it gave you the answer to fix this weakened state you've found yourself in.

"...Okay? I agree that I feel an ache, similar to hunger but different. So buddy, what is it exactly I have to feast on? Haha souls?"

You joked, trying to set your mood into a positive outlook since for some reason you suddenly felt unsure and even worried about what the answer may be.

"bLoOD."

Ah great...

You felt nauseous due to your rising anxiety, remembering how you practically got sick and sent the cultist down the toilet...Of all things, why does it have to be that...?

"Ah...isn't there a substitute..? I've got a weak stomach."

"oNcE ThE gIFt hAS AdaPTed tO A VeSSel, HunGER eMeRGes. tHE vEsSEl mUst FeaST tO pRevEiL. hOWevER, tHE sEEd oF MaN wOUld sUcceeD iN SAid sUBstItUDe."

Does This Thing Mean Jizz?! "Seed of man?...Do I have to eat it?"

"tHE GiFT wILL RepleNISh aS loNG aS ThE VeSSel abSOrbs THe EneRGy FrOM UnBOrn OfFSpriNG. tHE SacRIficE hoWEvEr tAkes AwAY YouR aBILity tO BeaR cHilDreN."

So to your understanding, both ways count right? Huh, well Andrew has a lot of work to do for you! And no kids?! Hell yeah! You were worried for a moment since last time he came inside of you...

"I guess that means I'll stick to jizz! Thank you demon dude!"

"bE WaRNed. It MaY ResTORe RegEnEraTIon, bUT tHE hUnGeR WiLl RemAIn, iF tHE VeSSle sTarvES fOR ToO LonG, iT Will LosE SiGht oF ReaSOn unTil fUlLy ReplenIShed aGaIN."

...you didn't like the sound of that one bit...

"Are you saying that if I don't eat, I'll go mental..?"

"yOU hAVe bEEn WaRNed. fArE WeLL SplIT sOUl."

................................................................

"Y/n! Wake up! They're talking about the apartment!"  Ashley shook you awake from your bizarre dream, or rather the bizarre message you received from the demon.
You found it difficult to listen to what she was telling you as you found yourself overthinking. You don't want to eat people...but you can't afford the risk on going berserk on these two...

Ashley pulled you towards the TV and sat you down along with Andrew. The breaking news you heard next is what snapped you out of your trance.

"Nothing major. Just a fire that burned the whole place down. Everybody died! Yes, everybody. A representative of the water company is here with us today! Is there anything you'd like to add?"

"Yes, my deepest condolences to the family members of the deceased. This apartment was most definitely not a wholly mismanaged mess better burned to the ground. Though foul play is suspected, there will be no further investigation. Therefore, it is so sad that this has happened."

Considering that the place was pretty much a den made for human cattle and organ harvesting. You can't color yourself surprised that there will be no kind of investigation, its pretty fucked now that you're thinking about it, but it works out for the three of you.

"It was you wasn't it?" Andrew suddenly spoke up, staring directly at you. There was no point in delaying the truth now.

"Yeah it was. You were too paranoid on getting caught... you couldn't sleep. I didn't want you drive yourself crazy... So, i took care of it!"

Both siblings looked at you, dumbstruck at the fact that you didn't seemed fazed at all that you've committed mass murder..

It was rather concerning to say the least...
