Fluttering your eyes open, you take a swift glance at your surroundings and fail to recognize where you are.

You slowly pulled yourself up from the worn-out mattress you don't remember falling asleep into, and immediately felt discomfort in your thigh. Then the memories from the day before flood back to the front of your mind.
The break into the apartment complex, getting caught, and most importantly the two siblings you passionately grown to miss with all your heart.

As you've become more awake by the minute, you looked around the room and concluded that you must be in their parent's room. It's most likely that Andy carried you in here when you passed out on the couch. You noticed Leyley left you a couple of cookies on the nightstand with a note that said it was to help circulate your blood, she had drawn many hearts and doodles.

The thought of Andy carrying you like a damsel in distress, and Leyley being your nurse bringing you snacks just made the butterflies in your stomach go wild.
You wanted to see them, you needed to. So you wasted no time in carefully getting up and walking your way to the living room.

As you opened the door, there was a delicious scent in the air. A classic breakfast that consists of bacon, pancakes, and eggs fills your nostrils making your stomach growl and your mouth water. You spotted Andy and Leyley in the kitchen, both of them stuffing their mouths like animals, it figures...they have been starving for quite some time after all.
The two of them saw you coming in, their expressions immediately lighting up at the sight of you.

Leyley was the first to jump up from her seat.

"Good morning you sleepy head! Care for some breakfast made by yours truly?" She asked you excited and very energetic. After finally having a meal she feels so overwhelmed with nutrients that she can practically run the marathon.

You give her a bright smile in exchange, as much as you'd love to munch on her breakfast, you cannot help but feel guilty.
Now that you've actually relaxed and taken the time to observe the two, you've noticed that there are indeed underweight...You can totally last a while without eating, for their sake. After all, even though you bought them an excessive amount of groceries, it will only last for a while. It'd be better to ration it until you can figure a way to get the three of you out of here.

Your bright smile turned into a sad one "I'm good Ley, right now the two of you need it most! So enjoy it!" You told her with the happiest tone you can give, not wanting to worry her and have her force food down your throat, it wouldn't be the first time.

Her expression shifted from excitement to irritation, she gave you a rather intimidating look and just as you expected, she grabbed an entire pancake with waaay to much strawberry jam on it and shoved it in your mouth, almost choking you in the process
"Nonsense, my dear Y/n! You need to eat just as much as us! And you dare to reject my delicious meal! After I worked so hard to make it with love for you and Andrew! I will not tolerate this absurdity!"

She exclaimed dramatically as she proceeded to serve a plate to you. Andy couldn't help but giggle as he looked at your jam smeared face, he took a napkin and got close to you to help wipe it away.
"You look like a starving vampire with all that red jam on your face." He said as he cleaned you. You couldn't help but feel embarrassed, feeling like these two are treating you like a child.

...Although you'd be lying to yourself if you say you weren't enjoying all the attention...

Andy got up from his seat to give the chair to you and went to his room to bring out another one for him.
Leyley placed your plate in front you, you noticed that she took the time to make your pancakes in a sloppy heart shape for you! That was so cute of her you don't think your heart can take this!!
The three of you proceeded to eat breakfast and gosh, it was the best thing you had in a long while!!
Not just meal-wise, but quality hangout time too, it felt like the good old days to be with them again. You loved watching how the two of them argued over the silliest things, always looking for you to put you in a tug of war situation where you'd be the judge on who was in the right and who was in the wrong.
