Watching Mark Johnson discard his shirt and the evil smile on his face, Lily suddenly snapped back to reality. In a panic, she grabbed the bedside lamp and hurled it at Mark Johnson.

"Ah!"

Mark Johnson, clutching his forehead, retreated continuously as warm blood dripped between his fingers.

Lily's legs gave way in panic, and she steadied herself using the bedside table.

Seeing Mark Johnson still not recovering, Lily hurried to escape. But just as she touched the doorknob, she was yanked back with force.

"Ah!" Her hair was tightly gripped by Mark Johnson, causing Lily to clutch at her scalp in pain.

"Damn it! How dare you hit me." After saying this, Mark Johnson fiercely pushed Lily to the ground.

Touching his still-bleeding forehead and grimacing in pain, he shook his head and advanced towards Lily.

Lily swallowed hard in fear, retreating continuously.

Suddenly, Mark Johnson crouched down, extended his arm, and pulled Lily in front of him.

"Ah! Mark Johnson, let me go."

Lily shook her head violently, struggling fiercely.

Irritated, Mark Johnson slapped her face again.

Lily's cheek instantly swelled red, with traces of blood at the corner of her mouth.

"If you were a bit more obedient, I might be gentler later. But if you keep resisting, you'll suffer!" Mark Johnson said, leaning in to kiss Lily's lips.

Lily clenched her mouth shut, resisting desperately.

Mark Johnson, with one hand, pinched Lily's cheek, forcing her to open her mouth. In desperation, Lily kicked wildly, hitting Mark Johnson's most vulnerable spot. The severe pain made him instinctively release Lily.

Seizing this chance, Lily quickly rolled away, keeping a safe distance from Mark Johnson.

Watching Mark Johnson clutch his lower body in excruciating pain, Lily hurriedly tried to stand up, but her legs gave way, and she collapsed to the ground.

Mark Johnson, following the noise, glared dangerously and said, "Injured me and still thinking of running?"

He stood up, clutching his injured forehead, and as he approached, Lily used her hands and feet to get up and head towards the door.

Glancing back at their distance from time to time, Lily reached the wine cabinet, pulled out a bottle, and hurled it at Mark Johnson. She continued, smashing several more bottles on the ground, spreading dark red liquid and shattered glass.

Mark Johnson, eyes red, watched his beloved wine being destroyed and roared, "Stop smashing!"

These wines were his prized collection, costly, and he never imagined they would be smashed by Lily. Due to his habit of drinking a glass of wine before bed, he had built a wine cabinet right at the entrance.

Lily, immersed in fear, didn't heed his words, fearing that stopping would give Mark Johnson a chance.

"I told you to stop!" Mark Johnson, infuriated, stamped his foot, startling Lily, and causing her to accidentally break another expensive wine bottle.

Seeing the shattered glass and wine bottles, Mark Johnson felt a murderous rage. Carefully, he tried to step over the glass shards but winced as he moved the area Lily had kicked.

He never expected Lily to kick so hard, causing him excruciating pain.

Meanwhile, Lily saw that Mark Johnson couldn't recover quickly, so she swiftly opened the door and ran out.

Mark Johnson, watching Lily escape, cursed and, enduring the lessening pain, slowly crossed over the glass shards and chased after her.

Tonight was a perfect opportunity. Even if it didn't work out tonight, he planned to create some "evidence" to send to James Carter and Emma Wilson.
