|• A/N: For the past two oneshots, I wrote Gerard as genderfluid. That's how I'm probably going to continue writing them. It feels easier, in my own fair opinion, it feels more natural to put him this way. But I'm about to give you Gerard Way in a miniskirt because honestly, we all need Gerard in a miniskirt tbh. •|

Right here, right now. I'm getting married to the love of my life. After 6 years of dating, here we are. I can still remember the day I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with them

*FLASHBACK*
"Frank, what the hell am I going to do?" "Gee, I don't fucking know? I can't help you with all this!" I gesture my hands around their whole body. They're wearing a goddamn miniskirt for crying out loud! It wasn't helping my case either. I had an awkward semi-boner. Luckily, they didn't notice. "Jesus Christ Frank, it's not like I'm asking you to pop my cherry too." "Don't give me that bitch glare Gerard Way." "What are you gonna do about it Frank Iero? You can't hit me!" "Says who?" "The state." They smirked and I wanted to kick their ass and kiss that smirk off their face at the same time. Okay, so I had a bit of a crush on on them. What? It's not like they have one on me too. "Oh my god, fine. I'll go dress shopping with you." I made a disgusted face to try and show that I was the least bit interested, but honestly, I was interested. "Thank you, Frankie. See you later!" They kissed me on the cheek and walked away. But those hips, those goddamn hips are all I could watch. It's like they're teasing me on purpose with every sway. "Frank, stop. You're ogling them again." Mikey, their brother, came up and smacked the back of my head, which ended up hitting my locker in front of me. "I may be younger, but that doesn't mean that if you hurt them, you aren't dead. Because if you do, I will personally hunt you down." "Okay, Mikeyway, shut up. You know I would NEVER hurt them." He nodded at me, I grabbed my books and headed for trig.

"Frankie!" Gee came running over and grabbed my by the hand. "C'mon we gotta go." "Gee, slow down." I saw that now they were wearing their white converse instead of the black leather heels they were wearing this morning. We were skipping 7th period so, I shot Mikey a text and asked if he would cover for me and say I went home sick and then shot Ray one too for Gee. "So what's our plan, mister mastermind?" They were curious, looking at my phone screen. "We went home sick today." "That's original, definitely for Frank Iero." They rolled their eyes and snickered. "Right, cause coming up with an excuse that we got captured by talking unicorns is so original. Get real, Mikey Way." I competed back, they'd been hanging out with Mikey a lot and just it needs to happen a lot less. We walked into the mall and I grabbed Gee's hand and led them to the dress shop they wanted to check out.

Squeals. That's all I heard from them the entire time. The consultant was extremely nice, she respected Gee's pronouns and her name is Lindsey. Lindsey is 21, she has a girlfriend named Jamia and she hates her job. "Uh, Frank? Could you come zip me up? Lindsey left like 5 minutes ago." They peaked out and waved me in. I laughed and nodded. That didn't last long when I saw Gee. They looked beautiful. "Gee, you look-" I got cut off by a frantic Gee. "What? What? Do I look bad? Please say you like it. Frank I really like it and I just-" I kissed them. They looked like they were going to have a panic attack. "Does that tell you how I think you look?" They nodded and then they kissed me and I was dumbfounded. Soon enough, I had them pushed up against the mirror. I had to pull back, not that I wanted too, but it looked like they were losing consciousness. "I really like you, Frank." I nodded and said the exact same thing back to them. I asked how much the dress costed. "$300, Lindsey gave me a discount. It's originally supposed to be $500. But Frank, I only have 100." They looked down and very disappointed. "Don't worry, I'm going to help you pay for it. Don't look so gloom, but on one condition," They hugged me and nodded but pulled back and asked what that condition was. "You have to wear that on Friday." "Why?" "I'm taking you out on a date. Further details will be mentioned later." I smirked, handed them the money and told them to go pay for the dress. They blushed and walked out to go see Lindsey at the cash register and that's when I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Gee Way.
*FLASHBACK END*

Here I was standing in a church, getting ready to officially marry Gee Way. Gee Way, who wears dresses and miniskirts, but also sweatpants and oversized hoodies. Who wears make up, and who wears nothing but a smile on their face. My best friend, my lover, my everything.
