Suprises Suprises

|A/N: this one is about when Gee posted that Umbrella Academy might become a tv show on Twitter. Obviously, frerard. With 5 year old Maxine, and short Gee!|

"Very excited that our comic, The Umbrella Academy may be coming to TV!" - @gerardway

The phone started ringing immediately after I posted that tweet. Of course I answered it, what kind of person do you think I am?

"Hello?" "Gerard! Baby!" "Frankie! Hey, what's up?" "Why didn't you tell me about your magnificent news first?" Frank sounded a little hurt, but he's probably just joking. "Calm down, Frankie! I was gonna call you, but you beat me to it." I giggled, Frank let out a little coo. I swear on my life that if there was one thing that Frank Iero could listen to, it would be my laugh. I know this because he told me.

"Well, I'm glad to know that twitter found out before I did, and that you actually were going to call me." "Frank, I love you." "I love you too, Gee baby. When I get home later, we're totally celebrating." I could so tell that Frank had the biggest smirk on his face. "Oh my god. Stop, Max is in the other room. Frank, please don't scare our daughter. Besides, don't you remember that last time we 'celebrated'?" "Calm down Gee, I'll see you when I get home. Love you baby, tell MadMax I love her too." "I will, bye baby. I love you too."

"Maxie, dad said he loves you, and he'll be home soon!" I heard a squeal and then little 5 year old footsteps come running on the tile. "Where is he? Mommy, where is he? I heard the word Dad." I love Max, don't get me wrong, but anytime she hears the word 'dad' she'll come running for Frank. Then there's me. If she hears the word 'mom' she won't listen. "Woah, calm down MadMax. Daddy isn't home yet, he's still got another hour at work. But, what do you say about going to get some ice cream and going to surprise him?" Her hazel eyes lit up, she's just as beautiful as her dad. She gasped really loud, and nodded so fast I thought she was gonna go dizzy.

"Alright baby, where do you want to go for ice cream?" I looked back to see Max playing with her dinosaurs in her car seat. "Maxine Joanne Iero." I turned around and snapped my fingers in her face to get her attention. "Yes, mommy?" She put down her dinosaurs on the seat beside her and looked up at me. "Where do you want to go for ice cream, MadMax?" "Dairy Queen!" She shouted and I chucked. "Alright Maxie, let's go."

"Hey, Paulina! Maxie and I are here to see Frank." "Gerard! Maxie! Frank is in a meeting right now, but he'll be done in like 5 minutes. Wow, she's getting so big Gee!" "Auntie 'Lina!" Max shouted and ran to hug Paulina. "Isn't she 'Lina? She grows everyday, it's almost weird in a way." "Gee, it's what kids do, they grow." "Obviously." I stated and she dragged Maxie off to her office, while I waited for Frank. I heard a door open and I heard shouts of 'Hey Gee!' or 'Gerard, it's nice to see you again!'.

I smiled and waved to everyone because let's face it, everyone knows me here. Finally, Frank fucking walks out of the damn doors. He walked right passed me, he was looking down for one thing, and he wasn't paying attention to my voice apparently. "Frankie!" I yelled and he turned around, the biggest smile on his face when he saw me. "Baby! Hey, I'm so happy to see you!" He hugged me, and kissed my cheek. "I missed you, baby. How has work been?" "Stressful. Where is our little munchkin?"

I lead him to Paulina's office and they both looked up at Frank and I. "Daddy!" "Hey baby girl! I missed you today, what did you and mommy do today before you came and seen me?" She smiled at me and looked back at Frank. "Mommy and I went to the park, and got ice cream, and we watched Beauty and the Beast this morning after you left, and we ate pancakes!" Frank looked at me with a raised eyebrow and laughed. "Sounds like you and mommy had a fun day, huh?" She nodded her head and climbed up in a chair to hug 'Lina.

"C'mon, I got something to show the both of you." Frank nodded to his office and Maxie ran towards it while Frank and I slowly walked. Maxie already went in and I stopped in my tracks. "Congratulations baby! I knew you'd make it!" Frank shouted and I laughed. I seriously had the greatest husband ever.

"No! See I got the call from Grant, and then I posted it on Twitter thinking nothing of it! I just wanted everyone to know-" Frank was laughing, I just got cake shoved in my mouth. "Mommy, be quiet." "Well okay." I mumbled as best as I could around a large piece of cake.

"Alright MadMax, it's bedtime." Frank looked at the clock, grabbed Max and threw her over his shoulder. "No, daddy! I wanna stay up with you and mommy!" "No, baby. You have to go to bed, it's way past mommy and daddy's bedtime too." "Okay, goodnight mommy!" Maxine reached out her hands to me, so Frank walked over to me and let me hug Max. "Goodnight baby girl, sleep well." I kissed her on her forehead and mouthed 'I love you' to her on our way up the stairs.

"Frank." I got a very slim hum back in response. "Thank you." I said and rolled over to sleep. I didn't have to look at him to see a big smile on his face. He seriously is the greatest husband ever.
