|A/N: this was supposed to be sad???????? what happened??????|
"What I wanna know is why. Why'd you do it, baby?" Gerard looked up at Frank, hurt, sadness, and tears in his eyes. "I was so afraid that if I messed up, I thought that maybe that would mean you wouldn't want me anymore. Like you would just finally give up on me." Gerard sobbed, hot tears frequently falling down his face. "Love, nothing you say or do is gonna make me not want you, do you understand?" Frank pulled Gerard into a hug, kissing the top of his head and petting his hair. Gerard sobbed harder, his body shaking in Frank's arms "I j-just, I th-thought that if I left on my o-own, it wouldn't hurt as m-much as if you told me to go. But it does! It h-hurts so much!" Frank just held his boyfriend close and tight, making sure that he wouldn't go anywhere. "I would never, never ever tell you to go. You're the most important thing in my life and I don't ever plan on letting you go anytime soon. Just please, please do not ever do that again, you scared me Gerard." Frank let a couple tears fall, he just wanted this to be a dream.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Gerard hiccuped, tugging on his hair, feeling like he was just a fuck-up and nothing more. "Baby, stop." Frank grabbed both of Gerard's wrists in his hands trying to pull them out of his hair. "Don't beat yourself up, Gerard, stop." Gerard let out a whimper, letting go of his dark locks and putting his hands at his sides. "Look at me," Frank lifted his boyfriend's chin up, but Gerard's eyes still averting his. "Please look at me," Frank whispered brokenly, and Gerard snapped, finally looking at his tattooed boyfriend. "I love you, so much. There's nothing in this world that can change that Gerard. You, of all people, should know that. I'm never going to leave you, you're stuck with me whether you like it or not. But to be honest, I don't wanna make you feel like you have to stay either."
Frank whispered the last part, pulling away from his younger boyfriend to wrap his jacket around him. "But I wanna stay, Frankie. I do. I don't wanna leave you, I love you so much. Don't leave me." Gerard, who never left his crying state, let more tears fall, pulling Frank as close to him as he could get. "Honey, I'm not going to leave you, I swear on my life. But just don't run from me, please." Frank wiped both thumbs under Gerard's eyes, stopping more tears from running. Gerard nodded, burying his face in Frank's chest. "God, I'm just glad your safe. Mikey is worried sick about you, should probably call him." Frank mumbled, rocking Gee back and forth to calm him down and suddenly the brunette felt a lot heavier than usual.
Frank looked down to see Gerard fast asleep on him. "It's amazing how much running away and crying gets to you." Frank carefully maneuvered Gerard in his arms, now carrying him bridal style back to his car. Somehow, Frank managed to get his boyfriend back in his car without waking him up. As Frank was getting into the car, Mikey started calling him. The tattooed man answered it quickly, moving out of the car not to disturb his sleeping boyfriend. "Hey Mikey-" "Is Gerard okay? Please tell me he is." Mikey frantically spoke, you could practically hear the worry in his voice. "Yes Mikes, he's okay. I found him before anything happened." Mikey let out a relieved sigh, he spoke away from the phone, probably to tell whoever else was there that Gee was okay.
"Thank god. Did he say why?" Frank nodded then remembered Mikey wasn't actually there and couldn't see him, then responded with a 'yeah'. "Are you going to tell me?" Mikey needed to chill, goddamn. "It's not my place to tell, Mikey." Frank ran a tattooed hand over his face, letting out a sigh at his boyfriend's brother. "Alright, well let me know when you guys are close okay? I'll let you in, everyone else is going to bed." Frank let out a small "okay", and heard the line drop. Frank turned around to find his cute little brunette baby, looking at him. "Was that Mikey?" He squeaked out, trying to cover his eyes from the lights overhead on the roof interior. "Yeah baby doll, it was Mikey." Frank climbed back into the car and shut his door so the lights didn't bother Gee anymore.
