|A/N: Merry Christmas! Or Happy Holidays. Stay safe this Christmas and I hope you all have a great one ❣|
Gerard kept looking out the window for his fiancé to get home, yet all he kept seeing was the falling of snow. Gerard whined, turning around and slamming his head on the window. He pouted, walking into the kitchen to make some coffee.
You see, Gerard never runs out of coffee. Frank makes sure of that because if there is no coffee, Gerard is, well, cranky as you might say. When he doesn't have coffee, it's a bad day for everyone. Trust me.
After Gerard made his cup of coffee, he walked back over to the window seat and sat down just enjoying the soft sound of the snow falling. The lights were off, the tree was plugged in and the colors reflected off of Gerard's eyes and the engagement ring on his left hand.
Suddenly, he heard the door to their apartment open and close. Footsteps creeping up on him, the familiar sent of Frank filling his senses. "Hi baby," Frank smiled and kissed the side of Gerard's head. "S'nice, isn't it? How the snow shines in the lights outside. It's beautiful." Gerard sighed, thinking Frank was looking outside with him but he was actually looking at Gerard.
"I'm looking at something that's a lot more beautiful than snow." Gerard turned to look at Frank, blushing as he realized what Frank was talking about. "Stop it, that's not true." The blonde looked back out the window, Frank shucked his coat and shoes off moving behind Gerard and bringing the blanket up over the both of them.
"It is true, you're so beautiful. I can never get over it. Every time I look at you, you take my breath away. When you smile, I just can't bring myself to look away from you." Frank brought his tattooed hands up to brush the hair away from Gee' face, relishing in the beauty that was his fiancé.
"Christmas is tomorrow, Frank." Gerard turned his body so he could properly lay on Frank. "I know, Gee. It's been a hell of a year huh?" Frank tightened his hold on the blonde, snuggling closer to get warmer. "Yeah, it's gone by so quick, it flashed before our eyes practically." Frank agreed, taking both of his fiancé's hands in his.
"Did you get your present wrapping done yet?" The blonde looked up at his fiancé, giving him a stern look. "Of course I did. Did you?" Frank raised an eyebrow at Gee, even though he knew he did because that's just how Gerard was. "You know I did, you were there. Well, for most of the time." Frank scoffed, he remembers because Gerard made him leave their apartment just so he could wrap Frank's presents.
"I still can't believe you kicked me out." Gerard giggled and snorted, covering his mouth but Frank heard the noise anyways and smiled. "Well, you weren't supposed to know what I got you. You went to Mikey's anyway, so don't complain." Gerard turned so that the fronts of their bodies were touching, Frank moving back to lie down.
"We should probably get some sleep, baby boy. Gotta get up early in the morning." Gerard whined, he was completely comfortable right where he was. "But you're so comfy and warm, don't make me move." The blonde looked at his fiancé with puppy dog eyes, but Frank just rolled the little hazel balls inside of his head.
"I'll carry you if it means getting you in there." Frank stated, listening to the blonde's ear piercing squeal. "Frankie, carry me." Gerard drew out his words, acting like a little 5 year old. Frank manoeuvred himself and Gerard to the position where he now held Gerard bridal style and he carried him to their bedroom.
"Frank, you know what I just realized?" Frank hummed, semi-answering his fiancé. "You'll be carrying me like this in just a few short months." Frank immediately had a huge smile on his face, their wedding was in March, it was gaining on them quickly.
